• Star Merc Full Release! - 10 February 2017

  Hi everyone Star Merc has now been fully released on steam, many changes and fixes have happened during early access and I am very grateful for all of the support received from everyone. This however does not mean the end for the game as I will be updating the full release and adding additional free content in the future (I hate paid dlc). So I hope you guys enjoy the game as before any issues or suggestions do not be afraid to report and I will resolve them as best as I can. Thanks again everyone!

• Bug Update - 1 October 2016

  Hi guys thanks for your patience, I have uploaded a new update that fixes bugs that have been reported especially one that was game breaking that did not allow users to attack at later levels or after winning a battle with a drone ship. This is not a content update but the new content update will be here very soon sorry for the wait guys but the game breaking bug has been difficult to resolve. Below is a list of the bugs fixed. - Spelling error with intro text - Not appearing at the right location after leaving certain areas - Drone attack ship reverting to old standard ship after some battles - Other minor changes to items and dialogue - Bug that did not allow users to attack at later levels or after winning ship battles Thanks again for your patience everyone and the new content will be here this coming week.

  Hey guys Star Merc has had a small update with some new content the update contains - new weapons - new areas and locations - new boss creatures - new suit upgrades The bigger update will be available in September in the meantime thanks again to all who have supported the game I am very grateful and I hope you guys enjoy the new content.

  Hi guys I have been updating Star Merc over the past few weeks and I just want to give you all a brief list of things that have been added since the last update and features that are being worked on just to keep you all up to date. - Some new music tracks added - New areas - New races introduced for one of the storylines depending on player choice - New skills added (these are not obtained through experience but can be bought as an upgrade) - New weapons - Ability to extract resources with resource extractor (this will be expanded upon) - You can now upgrade your drone ship - Destroying certain races ships will cause them to send a squad to intercept you - Secret chests and crates added - New story quests added - New side quests added - Changes to certain sprites - Shortened intro time due to feedback I am also working on the quest system and an ingame options menu so you can adjust vol…

  Hi everyone, the new update is now live for anyone starting the game fresh or new players I advise following the Overlords orders from the start (go to the bandit camp) as I am currently updating the freeplay mode. The update contains new content and fixes some are listed below - New locations Sola and new planet Telek - New music (all music will be changed periodically due to feedback) - New items - Some new skills - New enemies - New races and new interaction with some existing races There is still many existing locations that need expanded on within the game and I will be working on all of the existing areas over the next week introducing more content and larger maps with secret areas.   Hi first i want to thank everyone who has supported the game since launching on early access i am very thankful for the support. I have now uploaded a short video of gameplay from the start of the game to give people a better idea if the game is something they would enjoy you can find it in the video section of the game hub.
