• The Penguin Factory - Version 1.0.4 Released - 9 April 2024

  A minor update, mostly to fix a few things: Features Improved animations at higher and lower than expected frame rates. Improved some help text in the level editor. Fixes Fixed issue where the mallet could miss some penguins when the game was in fast forward mode. Fixed bug where music would cut out for a frame or two when going from the title screen to the game and vice versa. Fixed bug where multiple turntable sound effects could play at once. Prevents level editor components being placed when a help screen is visible. Minor efficiency improvements.

• The Penguin Factory Update - 30 July 2020

  Just a quick update to version 1.0.3 with the following improvements and fixes: Improvements When playing or modifying a level created via the Steam Workshop, returns to the level details rather than all the way back to the title screen when done. Added the version number to the credits screen. Fixes Fixed placing level components in the level editor from being slightly off on non-widescreen displays. Fixed dragging level components around in the level editor from jumping around the screen when using touchscreen. Clicking cancel on the on-screen keyboard when setting a level name or description now reverts the text back to what it was before rather than clearing it.

• The Penguin Factory - Version 1.0.2 Available - 22 August 2019

  Quick update with a few changes and fixes: Changes Added new in-game shortcut keys - "" to rotate the camera and "R" to restart a level. These can be redefined. The in-game workshop search screen now allows filtering on your Steam friends' levels. The level description is now shown in the details of a user-generated content level when viewing it. Fixes Fixed issue with mallet accuracy if the frame rate was low. Fixed issue where splitter arrows didn't always change direction when the game was in fast forward mode. Thanks to everyone who has played the game so far. We'd love to see some more of your workshop levels!

• The Penguin Factory is now available! - 7 June 2019

  We're proud to announce our 6th Steam game - The Penguin Factory - has been released on Steam today. We'll be monitoring the Steam community pages for the game for a while after release. If you have any questions, just ask. Enjoy!
