It’s been two years since we revealed Den of Wolves to the public, and one year since the first gameplay trailer, and a lot of you are saying “where’s the game?”. Last year we tried something different - a 96 hour stream with the goal to complete all 83 expeditions in GTFO in one go, while raising money for charity. We didn't quite make it but as true GTFO players; when we fail we try again. So we're happy to announce a new Streamathon - this one 100 hours - that starts next Monday the 20th October, in one week. Expect to see 10 Chambers employees struggle, speed runners hardly breaking a sweat and familiar faces from the community. - Deepen your GTFO suffering with the Wheel of Misfortune - 29 September 2025
With 80+ expeditions, one would think that there is enough suffering for everyone in GTFO but we've read your messages. You want more ways to be punished so we're introducing the Wheel of Misfortune. Spin the wheels to add a self-imposed difficulty spike, in the form of different regulations, and what expedition to attempt. If you are feeling creative, you can press Customize, which brings up a menu where you can add custom regulations (stored locally in your browser), remove the ones you don’t like, and even prune the selections of expeditions. It’s okay if you don’t want to do E-tier expeditions with just pistols. Don’t hesitate to share your most gruesome custom regulations. We recently had the pleasure of welcoming a fan to our studio, who brought a diorama based on GTFO and the horrors that await us all down in the Complex. The amount of detail astonished us, with sleepers lit up from the inside and more. "I have been working on it off and on for about five months. I wanted to make it as good as possible so that the studio would be satisfied", says the creator Christoffer. "I used PETG filament for the 3D prints. The scene is built on foam board, and the walls are also made of foam. I used real stones and gravel, as well as regular hobby paints for painting." Prisoners, we have a small patch for you, fixing a crash issue related to the length of user names. We also took care of some of the start commands that were so potent even the clients could execute them. Fixed a game crash that occurred on startup when a player's username reached the maximum character limit, including emojis Fixed a bug that allowed some START commands to be executed as a client when the host was nearby Don't miss our big event next week, where we will try to beat all the levels in GTFO during a 96 hour long stream.
