• Indie Royale 'Mayhem' Bundle includes burning zombies, primal fears - 13 May 2013

  Indie Royale has introduced another name-your-own-price set of six games. Dubbed the Mayhem Bundle, it includes Burn Zombie Burn , Lucius , Plain Sight , Droplitz , Primal Fears, Alien Shooter 2 Conscription. Most of the games are Windows via Steam only, though two of them (Lucius and Conscription) are on Desura as well. The bundle 's current minimum is $5.50. If you pay $8 or more, though, you'll also get the chiptunes album Phonetic Symphony by Chipzel in MP3 or FLAC.

• Plain Sight Update Released - 17 May 2011

  Updates to Plain Sight have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include: Plain Sight * Numerous bug fixes; * Clearer UI elements showing you when you can buy Persistent Perks; * Everyone gets 100 stars to spend on Persistent Perks; * Added data collection to the purchase server so we can collect metrics about how users collect and use stars; * Everyone will have a minimum of 30 points to upgrade their Robot Perks at the start of every round; * Doubled the length of Shields; * And one small but significant tweak – Minimum detonation Energy! You must always get one energy point larger than you previous detonation, forcing you to constantly grow bigger and bigger the more of a successful killing machine you are. For every time you are killed, this minimum detonation energy drops by one;

  Plain Sight , the new multiplayer arcade game from indie developer Beatnik games, is now available on Steam. You are a badass suicidal ninja robot. But in this game, being all big and badass doesn't win you the match. It makes you a target. To win, you have to convert your collected energy into points... How do you do this? Simple. Kill yourself. Grab 3 three friends to go in on the Plain Sight 4-pack , and kill them too!

• Suicidal Ninja Robots Invade Steam - 5 April 2010

  After ages of testing and re-testing, Beatnik Games finally unleashes on Steam and other fine downloadable PC game services Plain Sight, a multiplayer robot fighting game where the goal is to kill yourself before the other players do. Of course it isn't quite that simple. Players take control of a ninja robot, which is all the description I really need to drop $9.99, but it gets better. The robots hop around colorful cartoonish levels, killing each other to gather energy. The more energy you gather, the more of a target you become. And the only way to score points from the energy you amass is to kill yourself, exploding into a fiery ball and hopefully taking several of your opponents with you. The game is starkly pretty, and the action can get very intense, especially if you're good at it. I generally just get taken out before I do any damage, respawning to get taken out again. You'll d…
