- Timing is everything... - 22 February 2021
In order to provide a consistent gameplay experience, the latest update of Secret Santa addresses performance issues on higher-end hardware.
- I understand it's not christmas but... New game. - 13 August 2020
I feel the title says enough really. Been working on a new title with multiple partners, and just got our coming soon store posted. The new project is called Mean-while and will be available hopefully september assuming all goes well. Now on to shameless posting. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1339170/MeanWhile/ Also, if you want to try the game out early, I have it available on gamejolt linked bellow. I don't like linking free or stripped down versions of games, so the entire game is available there. It should also have controller support if you have one standing by. https://gamejolt.com/games/meanwhile/393196 Hope you all enjoy. Take care.
- Secret Santa is officially free forever! - 1 December 2019
The title speaks for itself. After 3 years on steam, I think this game has made its dent, and I thought to just make Secret Santa free from now on instead of just joining in another Autumn sale. For anyone who had this on your wish list, now is your chance to enjoy the game without purchasing it. In other news, I'm currently working with my friends on a new title hopefully to come out early 2020, but that can be subject to change depending on how things go. Hopefully I'll have something new to show soon though. Before I end this announcement, I'd like to thank everyone who bought Secret Santa originally. Support for this game help to make bigger and better future titles. Merry Christmas to you all, and to those who haven't played Secret Santa yet, I hope you enjoy it. --Daniel

- Small Halloween update on its way - 13 October 2017
Since it's hitting the annual Holiday gauntlet, we decided to partake in the steam staple of Halloween themed updates. It's friday the 13th, and it would only be fitting we tried a Halloween update for a Christmas themed game(it just felt right). The new Halloween list should be open to play right off the bat, so you don't need to unlock anything to play it. Currently the update is on the beta branch for now while we test the one achievement for finishing the list, but after doing so, it should be available in the main branch. I hope you all enjoy this small update, and wish you a pleasant October.

- Indie gala friday bundle sale. - 25 December 2016
I know it's Christmas eve and I presume a lot of people are busy right now tending to friends and family, but I thought to post the recent announcement saying Secret Santa is currently available on Indie gala's Friday bundle. For those unfamiliar with Indie gala, it's a digital distribution platform similar to humble bundle, so if you are interested in more indie games for a smaller price or just a low price copy of Secret Santa, Then go check them out and see what they have to offer. The sale will only be around till the end of the holiday weekend though. You can check them out Here or the link bellow. https://www.indiegala.com/friday That's all for now. Hope you all are having a pleasant Christmas eve, and wish you all a happy holidays. --Daniel

- The Secret Santa 1.01 update is now live. - 18 December 2016
Featuring WSAD movement and full controller support, as well as preliminary Linux support; we bring you the first official update for Secret Santa. It's been a pleasure to bring this game to the Steam community, and we're continuing to improve Secret Santa. Coming soon to the Beta branch for review: Full touch screen controls, Steam cloud support, and more. Ho-ho-ho! *Note: Due to stability issues between the game engine and some graphics drivers, the Steam overlay might not appear in Linux, though achievements will work as normal.

- Beta Branch: New update featuring WASD and gamepad support plus new updates on the way. - 14 December 2016
Well, it's been 2 weeks since the release of Secret Santa, and I feel an announcement is overdue. As you may have noticed in the headline above, we made a beta branch with an update featuring more control options for Secret Santa, along with some small tweaks here and there. We also have plans for mobile controls in the future, but we'll still need to test around with it before official release. One final note. A new update featuring new music is also planned for later this month as well, but for now, I hope the present beta update makes things more welcoming to people still playing Secret Santa. Thank you all for your support, and happy holidays. To join the Beta branch, visit the Secret Santa Community Discussion.
