• Seeds, a Nursery, and New Achievements - 19 September 2026

  You can now collect seeds, save them for later, and choose what to grow next. This update also adds a Seed Nursery, collection filters, and eight new achievements. Seed Inventory Harvesting now has a chance to give you a seed. The chance starts at 15% and increases at Garden Levels 4, 12, 35, 67, and 81, reaching 40%. A dropped seed usually belongs to the harvested plant, but can also belong to another species from the same habitat. Stored seeds grow into their specific species. Once you've harvested that species before, its seed displays the plant's name. Undiscovered seeds show their rarity and habitat instead. Inspect a seed, plant it in your current empty Growing Pot, or sell it for XP. Seed Nursery The Nursery produces one seed at a time. A cycle takes 24 hours at Garden Level 1. • The Living Collection Update - 13 September 2026

  The Living Collection DLC is now available, adding 40 real-world plants, four new pots, and the Long-Reach Galvanized Can. Living Collection plants also come with two new care mechanics: • Work With Me - From 07:00 to 19:00, visible Living Collection plants slowly gain care while you’re active at your PC. • Sing Me to Sleep - From 19:00 to 07:00, you can sing or hum to a plant through your microphone. It reacts to your voice and gradually gains care while it hears you. • First Week Update - 5 September 2026

  Improved localization readability and fixed text clipping across all supported languages. Improved tooltip, popup, and transparency behavior. Added the First Week Event: harvest any plant between September 6–13 to unlock the exclusive First Week Clay pot. The Botanica desktop button now glows briefly when restored.

• Small Desktop Update - 2 September 2026

  Fixed the Botanica button not being movable in layout edit mode. Added an option to hide the Botanica button from the desktop. Daily Botanica now stays out of the taskbar and can be accessed from the system tray. Added a Keep Always on Top setting. For the cleanest experience, we recommend disabling Steam Overlay: Steam Library → Right-click Daily Botanica → Properties → General → Disable “Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game.”

  Hi everyone,Daily Botanica is finally out.I liked the idea of having a small plant quietly living on my desktop while I worked or played something else. That idea eventually became this game.You can plant a mystery seed, water it when you remember, and see what it grows into. Nothing dies while you’re away, and there’s no pressure to check in every day.The base game is free, so you can download it and give it a try.This is the first public release, and I’ll be watching the discussions and bug reports closely.
