Boom. I hope you like what you see! In some ways Panda Circus is more similar to The Hex than Inscryption. Multiple game genres will be explored, mixed, hacked to bits, and then put back together into a Frankenstein's Monster. It feels a weird to patch this game after all this time but how could I not when fine folks step up offering to translate it into their languages? Thank you so much to @hymg000, @plcube, and @gyunyu_5959 for their work in translating the many lines of text in The Hex to Japanese. And many thanks to Thomas De Coster (@linkyen1) for the Dutch localization! This patch also fixed an embarrassing options menu bug and fixed a bug that had been introduced with a prior patch that broke the ARG secrets trail! - Pony Island developer's horror deck-builder Inscryption plays a new trailer - 14 August 2020
Spooky deck-builder Inscryption has drawn and played another trailer to tease you into its weird mashup of card, critters, escape rooms, and like five other genres probably. Brewing up a genre stew is apparently something of a thing for developer Daniel Mullins Games who you may know from past games Pony Island and The Hex . A new trailer for Inscryption lets on that it’ll be just as wild a ride when it launches in 2021. (more…)

Looking at that header, Inscryption ( official site ) seems predictable enough. A decent deck-building dungeon crawler, not too dissimilar to Slay The Spire, eh? It’s even got some of that extremely-online black humour going on. But this is developer Daniel Mullins we’re talking about, the bloke wot brought us harrowing genre-busters Pony Island and The Hex . - The Hex - Now in Polish and Brazilian Portuguese! - 20 August 2019

- The first localization patch is live! French, Italian, Turkish, German, and Spanish! - 10 April 2019
It was a huge undertaking that spanned months, but I am happy to announce that The Hex is now playable in French, Italian, Turkish, German and Spanish. I can’t be more thankful to the localization team. They dealt with over 3500 lines of text including riddles, poems, cryptic messages, and more. Most of the dialogue is riddled with codes that control the playback in-game and the team had to accurately translate these as well as the source text. “That's -ahem correct.” is an example of one of these. If there was ever a tale for Cyber Monday, this is it – the kind of stuff that magazines would spread rumours about, now made real. The Hex , if you missed John’s cheery review , is the genre-hopping successor to Daniel Mullins’ Pony Island, and a clever little thing you should probably play now . One moment it’s a Fallout-parodying tactics game, next it’s Hotline Miami. It’s also about secrets, and it took a full month for its players to crack its greatest one. - Patch #8 - 14 November 2018
Getting close to one month after launch! Whew! The pace of these patches is slowing down as the bugs are becoming less severe/urgent. Added small EXP bars in Chandrelle's flashback to show how close a character is to the next level. Fixed: Tarot cards getting erased when using chapter select. Now you can have "The Inn" card read without hacking the save. Fixed: It was possible to screw up your save file by killing all the pixel raiders in Rust's flashback with the secret cheats. Fixed: Some older dialogue from Chandrelle in the Six Pint that gave the wrong directions to her guest room. Fixed: An issue in Lazarus' chapter in the scene where Super Weasel Kid is beneath the surface. Other minor bug fixes and improvements. Thanks for playing!

Patch #7 Added another extra chapter select button for Lazarus' flashback. Fixed: "Ice Cold" achievement not unlocking after using chapter select. Fixed: When ending Rust's chapter with the headlamp equipped, it was supposed to return to the wardrobe in Chandrelle's room. This was broken until now. Fixed: Removed a debug command that made its way into the game. Fixed: It was possible to replace more than one of your abilities with Jack's "Ankh Storm" spell. Rather than Jack simply not appearing in the R&D department if you gave him 100% real ankhs, he now appears to thank you before letting you past unharmed. Minor bug fixes. Thanks again to everyone who has posted on the forums and emailed me regarding bugs!

Added a couple extra chapter select buttons to make secret/achievement hunting a bit less tedious. I will probably end up adding a few more next patch. Upon request, I added a speedrun timer. You can turn it on by pressing Shift+R at any time. Fixed: After Jay's death in Lazarus' flashback, re-entering the shotgun or sniper levels would cause issues. I was getting a lot of comments from people who thought that Hardcore Mode in Rust's flashback was impossible with the wrong upgrades. So I made a certain glowing skull a bit more conspicuous. Minor bug fixes.

Just another patch here. As usual thanks to the bug finders! The state of coins, vending machines, and secret slots in The Six Pint persist across chapter selecting. You can use your actual keyboard when entering your name in Secrets of Legendaria... Not that Chandrelle really wants to hear it. Fixed: It was possible to kill The Vurm early and mess up the scene with a well placed Chain Shot. Fixed: If Irving starts hitting Bryce in Cooking Granny, his chef's jacket would magically reappear. Changed a phone number... Minor bug fixes.
