We have just released a minor update for Richie's Plank Experience which includes the following: - Updated Safety message text - Updated EULA text - Reduced HMD removal threshold from 5s to 1s to trigger safety message

Turned on Santa Simulator bell in the elevator. Updated Santa simulator with shinier bell and shooting star VFX. Updated safety message. Now requires agreement from each user. Removed rope until we can figure out why it's glitching out. LIV sdk should be updated. Fixed bug where users sometimes don't have gravity when stepping off the plank. Removed ability for users to accidentally press the elevator buttons when standing outside the elevator. Change to skybrush particles.
- Dignity Update - 11 June 2020
Graphics Added subtle steam to the air conditioning vent near the plank. This is a small detail, but we think it's the little things that matter. This will help sell the feeling that there's working gravity in the experience. Added a DIGNITY billboard. A few months ago, during a team meeting, we decided that Dignity would be our company initiative. We believe the world will be a happier place if we all remember to use it. Reverted the post processing to a more realistic option in a previous update. Bugs Fixed a bug where oculus headsets couldn't set the width of the plank. Fixed the low music volume
- Hero Academy Is Here! - 16 December 2019
Richie's Plank Experience now has Hero Academy! This update includes all three game modes: Missile Defence, Rocket Race and Fire Fight. Missile Defence: Protect the city from the falling missiles by punching them out of the sky. Rocket Race: Use your rockets to fly as fast as you can through the hoops across the city. Fire Fight: Grab your fire extinguisher and your rocket to fly through the city putting out fires as fast as you can. We also worked hard on fixing some bugs and making improvements: - Fixed cars glitching out bug when at the menu. - Fixed santa score. - Fixed umbrella bug. - Fixed rocket bug when picking up from the plank - Fixed VR menu settings bug. - Fixed the bug where controller models don't load if Steam isn't already loaded. - Improved fire effect. - Improved water effect. - Improved flying mechanic. - Nightmare Update + Bug Fixes and Improvements - 19 September 2019
Today is the day we say goodbye to the Clowns. They’ve given us plenty of scares over the years and we wish them all the best as they move on to chase their dreams as kid party entertainers. Good luck Clowns! In this update we have streamlined the Nightmare mode. It’s now more impactful allowing you to move through the experience at a better pace. Ultimately, this will make it easier for you to share with friends and family. Other improvements include: - A ton of bug-squashing, including better feet tracking, - Graphical improvements to fires on Fire Deck, - Graphical improvements to Santa Simulator, - New caution sign in the elevator, - Bug fix for falling through the floor on the way up the elevator. Toni and I have come to the sad realisation that we can no longer be a part of the /r/Vive community. What the Hell Happened? Yesterday we posted about our grand opening update to /r/Vive. This update isn't a regular update. It is essentially a remake. Rebuilt from the ground up by a 3D artist, feet tracking, a nightmare mode and a bunch of surprises. For perspective, it cost us 8X more than the original Richie's Plank. Minutes after posting, upvotes started coming in. It was upvoted to #4 spot and for a short while, it was the only post in 2 pages that wasn't about Fallout 4 VR. (which does deserve 2 pages. It's pretty damn epic) We were thrilled. Unfortunately, it was removed by the moderators before most people saw it. We Broke the Rules Around this time last year, we released the Santa Simulator update. I was so excited, I asked our Steam fans to upvote the post on Reddit. This brok…
