• WaveLand's 4th Anniversary! v1.5 Update - 19 April 2021

  Hey Dashers! WaveLand turned 4 today, how about we celebrate with a surprise update?! The level editor has received some much needed love. It's got new objects, features, bug fixes, and quality of life improvements! Check out all the changes in the patch notes below: - Editing Improvements - Added support for single collision/background/platform tiles. Holding space now shows a zoomed out view of the level that you can click on to move around. Holding control with an object copied to the clipboard now displays a ghost to help with pasting. Terrain auto-tiling has been massively optimized for large levels. New 5x5 and 10x10 terrain brush sizes for filling in large areas. New 2x2 and 1x1 grid snapping added. Grid visual realigned and opacity reduced. The object menu has been reorganized and the default level has been updated. Added buttons and hotkeys to move start/coin/finish to the cent…

• WaveLand is now available on macOS! - 15 January 2020

  WaveLand dashes onto macOS (even Catalina)! Finally mac owners can speed through this pixelated dreamscape as a box-thing... :) Version 1.4 also brings new some new level editor content such as a dark level toggle and level size changing! Gameplay Tweaks Pixel window for ground detection when attempting to jump out of shine increased from 1 to 3 This change seeks to legitimize the infamous "koiboost" (popularized by early IL god Koisoi) as a mechanic within the game. Previously the window for performing such a maneuver was pixel perfect. Now there is slightly more leniency so it shouldn't feel like such an insane grind to optimize some levels. Level Editor Improvements Added dark level toggle in the level settings. Changes the goal into a fragment and draws dark level visual effects. • Custom Level Leaderboards! v1.3.0 Patch Notes - 31 January 2018

  New Content: Custom Levels now have online leaderboards. The play custom level menu has been updated. It now show the name of the workshop item instead of the filename. It now also shows 120 characters of the description and the screenshot taken from the editor. Bug Fixes: World 6 no longer incorrectly shows dark levels or dark leaderboards.

  New Content: Dark Worlds have been added! After collecting at least 4 Memory Gems you can access the Dark Worlds. Dark levels are alternate versions of each level. Where, instead of reaching a goal, you collect dark fragments that are scattered around. They contain extra hazards, new walls, and often have completely different routes. Check it out! 30 Dark levels added. You can now view dark runs from the leaderboards/profile menu. A new achievement has been added. Platform QOL Changes: You can no longer fall through platforms while dashing on them, unless it's angled directly down. You can no longer fall through platforms while in jumpsquat. Added stat tracking for number of dashes, deaths, shines, coins, and S ranks. Profile menu added. View your stats and level in the profile menu. View average leaderboard rank and combined level time in profile menu.

  Hello Dashers! Small quality of life update here while I work on the level editor. Changes The timer and level will now reset on death if you have not collected a coin or reached a checkpoint. You can now delete save files by holding right on the file select screen. There is a new setting for particles in the options menu. If you experience lag try putting particles on low. Fixed the Explorer achievement not being rewarded if you collected a hub coin last. Fixed some typos. Fixed some bugs.
