This update addresses a lot of things the community has discussed about Einlanzer. There are fairly large changes to playing the game in a dishonorable way. Most specifically, the "Vile" tier of weapons that are only accessible by being dishonorable are now substantially better. Also, a side quest leading to a truly powerful weapon only accessible by being consistently dishonorable has been added to the game. This weapon is a counter to the Excalibur--the extremely powerful weapon you can obtain by being consistently honorable. Head down to the Abyss and look for a new skeleton NPC to start the quest. Don't expect him to want to talk to you if you're a goody-two-shoes.... One other major late-game improvement is the ability to travel to Canaan and the Abyss even when you're right before the final boss. Hello Adventurers, A new update for Einlanzer is here! In this patch, a few things the community has been asking for has been implemented. First, all skills and magic have been rebalanced so the Defense and Magic Defense stats simply do more. You will see this reflected mostly in how much damage tanky heros take. However, tanky enemies will take less damage from your attacks as well! Next, every major dungeon now has a "fast-travel" option once the dungeon is completed. You will never have to pointlessly trudge back through a dungeon again after defeating the boss unless you want to. Lastly, I was shocked to hear players who defeated the extreme difficulty secret last boss Saul-Rious say he wasn't *that* hard. Hello Adventurers, Now you can get a massive, epic classic role-playing experience for even less! Einlanzer's price has just been permanently lowered to only $3.99. The OST (Original Soundtrack) has also been lowered to $1.99. Our next game tentatively titled "Diaspora" has been our main focus the last few months. New calendar events will still happen for Einlanzer, but the "Einlanzer Stories" $.99 DLC will probably be put on hold for now. Diaspora has about 6 hours of polished, balanced gameplay. All of the game mechanics, abilities, stats, and character progression is in place. About 2/3 of the story has been written. Now we just have to make more game! Hello adventurers! Welcome to Einlanzer version 1.215! This isn't a major update. It mostly fixes a few bugs and/or suggestions from the discussions board. There are a couple small gameplay additions as well, though. Changes for Einlanzer v.1.215 There is a new hidden area accessible as soon as you have your ship. It is on the far east side of the map. Look for an igloo on a snowy island. New weapon! Obtained from the igloo mentioned above, you can find a new weapon called "Shatter." This is a spear that has a unique effect. It has a 25% chance of inflicting the "Frostbite" status effect on anyone it hits. This status effect makes a target take DOUBLE physical damage and have 1/2 speed. This weapon can be a valid strategic choice through the whole game. There is a new, additional story event for Ratt when he visits the charred remains of his house south of Alabaster.
