Good hello, friends! We have been hard at work improving our networking so that you can all enjoy a smoother and more responsive game! We are hoping that with these new improvements (along with a number of bug fixes, audio improvements, and general awesomeification) all our fans will be able to enjoy Robot City Stadium that much more. - Week 3 Update Released - 10 January 2017
We've uploaded our week 3 update with a bunch of improvements and fixes. Most notably, we have tweaked the way that recalling the disc and doing "air-nudges" work in the game. This was based on some awesome feedback we got from players like YOU! It was amazing to work with actual customers to come up with improvements to the game. Keep your ideas coming! There are also a bunch of smaller changes including: Round report against AI Fixed bug where ball would disappear Tuned the throwing speed and curve parameters Lighting pass on the background Minor fixes and tweaks And a sneak peak for whats coming next: We have a networking update in the works for our next update! Whooo!

Hey folks, we just released a mini-patch. Please make sure you update, because players on the two different versions won't be able to play together. So, what's in the patch? Kicking idlers! I logged in, wanting to be there as a human for people to play against and I was matched with a player who was away from computer. So, I saw a head and some hands kinda piled up wherever it is that this person stores them :) Due to the way matchmaking _was_ set up, anyone who tried to play online would be matched with this person. So, you don't even get to fight the bot. All you get to fight is a head and some hands kinda piled up :) Now, if you score zero goals and zero points we will take you out of matchmaking and back to character selection! Note: if you're really, REALLY bad (sorry!) you might someday have to re-select your character rather than automatically going back into matchmaking :)

If you jump in and play on Christmas between 7:00 and 8:00 PST (that's 3:00-4:00 AM, the following day, GMT) you'll have the opportunity to be matched against one of our team and hopefully other members of the community! Whoever comes out of this event on top is going to get a magic crown* that they can wear until the next event. * note: the crown is not magic. It does exist, though, and your character will actually show up in-game wearing it! Also, sorry about the time, GMT folks. It's not that we don't value you, but we live in Seattle and it's Christmas. :P

Hey everybody! We know that you're playing against CoachBot more than we anticipated, so we're rolling out an update that makes him quite a bit smarter. 347% smarter, in fact. Ok, you got me. I just made up 347%. I don't even know how you'd go about measuring his increase in smarts. Let's just call it "way better" and move on, shall we? We still have more plans for improving him, but he's come far enough that we want to get this into your hands in a Very Special Christmas Update. We've also made some other improvements with physics and networking which we think you'll like as well. We're testing the build and expect to get it out tomorrow. Who knows, though, maybe we'll get it out today?
