A new 53MB update is available which fixes up a few issues. Cut scenes and story video brightness fixed. Plasma weapons not working on asteroid fixed. Phantoms are now a little easier. Misc fixes and Improvements.

Hi fellow starfighters, a new update is now available which adds hotas support and a host of other improvements to the game. Building on the remastered version of the game which was released last year and brought many new features and improvements to the game and gameplay, the new update adds hotas support and a host of other improvements. Changes since the last update : Added hotas support Native for the Thrustmaster Hotas X and all other Hotas can be set up in the config files. Improved Visuals And VFX The game has had a big visual make-over with improved graphics and visual effects throughout the game. Improved Drii Ships The Drii ships have been improved and retextured. The War cruiser and warship have changed and the spector textures and UVs have been fixed up. Update 1.8 is now in Beta Opt-in! Improved VFX, SFX, Hotas support and more The update is now in beta opt-in. (5.6 .gb) Hotas support works out of the box with a Thrustmaster Hotas X. It will also work with others but we need the community to help test out other sticks and help others use the same sticks with simple changes to the Input.ini file.

ATTENTION ALL STARFIGHTERS! Update 1.7 is out, (339mb) There have been a lot of improvements and new content has been added! What has changed since the last update a few months back? Improved CDF Database The CDF database has been improved and expanded to feature new content, improved menu and environment and everything works as intended. New Model 4 CDF Carrier The new carriers are now in the game and are featured in some skirmish missions. The CDF database has been updated to include the new carrier and its information. New Skirmish Maps 5 new skirmish maps have been added which also feature some of the new ships and content. There are now mine defence missions and missions which include the new M4 Carrier. The last 3 years have been spent totally remaking the game for pc and mouse and keyboard. The original release was a VR port, the new remastered version has been re designed and developed for the PC community. The game is available for free to all current game owners, a big thanks to all the people who helped on the game and our testers. Following on from the news of our impending remastered version of Starfighter Origins, we are aiming for the 17th of march 2020 for beta opt in testing so any final issues can be ironed out before full release at the end of the month.
