Improvements Added a much better story spanning all levels including an intro and end. Balanced the game to include a much better difficulty curve. Improved bosses. Hello players! I'm happy to announce that Revenge Quest has been released. I'll continue working on this little shoot 'em up based on your input. If you would like to see new features, send information about bugs or even suggest ideas for a sequel, let me know! The latest features are a variety of interesting weapons, a variety of enemies and bosses and a duelling arena where you can duel your friends. Joel

- New content! Bosses & Power ups - 1 August 2017
Hey everyone. There's lots and lots of new stuff! The vacuum gun has been fixed up and is available in stage 3. Also the menu has been overhauled, and there are new enemies, and now there are a bunch of powerups, new kinds of bullets and bosses! There's a new level (stage 5) with a pretty tough boss. There's also a bit of a story which I hope is interesting. Joel

Here's what's new in version 1.2: -The Plasma Bat is a weapon like the cricket bat, but it can knock away bullets and is far more deadly when used at close range. -There is a new level. In it you run across a bridge over a river, fighting mafia minions and robots and dodging explosives. -You can now drink water to heal yourself. This ought to make the game slightly easier so that you can get through some of the tougher levels. Minor changes: -You can now use a controller in the main menu -An issue with audio getting blocked out has been fixed -The Sarien Laser Rifle has been overhauled What's coming next: -Story elements for a bit of context -More levels, environments and enemies -New bosses -Power ups I hope you like the new content! Special thanks to Jerryactric (Paintivity Universe on Youtube) for posting a playthrough online that proved to be an educational experience for me as I watched it through. Factories build randomised robots that evolve as you fight through each wave. It's up to you to fight and destroy the factories. As you do, the robots will become stronger, so be careful! 2. A dash of story. Someone needs to tell the story behind everything that's going on. 3. A new level with new enemies and weapons (especially the Vacuum Gun, which sucks up bullets and shoots them back out.)
