- Left-hand love + better hand angle - 20 May 2018
Some left-handed players expressed that they wanted to control the drone with the left controller. Oddly enough this didn't show up during testing - all the left-handed testers control with their right hand for some reason :). But of course you should be able to play the way you feel comfortable. Switch handedness in Options. Some players also expressed that the angle they have to hold their hand at to fly felt a bit weird for them. I've added a hand pose option where you can switch to "joystick" which hopefully feels a better for you. Let me know if you have any issues!

🎅🎄⭐🎁 CHRISTMAS SPIRIT 🎁⭐🎄🎅 The arena has been pimped up with Christmas decoration, smooth music, and snow. 🎅🎄⭐🎁 NON-VR / FLATSCREEN MODE 🎁⭐🎄🎅 A bunch of players have been wanting to play Drone Hero but didn't have a VR headset. Now you can play Drone Hero without a VR headset using the regular screen and a keyboard or gamepad (only Xbox controllers are supported right now). I've made sure that the game can be completed, but I honestly don't think it's possible to get 3 stars on the last levels in flatscreen mode. I'll work on that. 🎅🎄⭐🎁 POLISH & TWEAKS 🎁⭐🎄🎅 I've made the transitions quicker and balanced a few levels that were still too hard. Let me know if you think it's better. So, kick it back and enjoy the last few days of the year. I'm looking forward to sharing the next year with all of you. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from Neuston! - Jonas

There's now a built-in camera director that can be turned on in the options menu (new). The camera director automatically sweeps around the level and frames the player's avatar and drone in the middle of the action - as seen in the game trailer. It's especially handy for when you're playing with friends and they're in the couch, or when you're recording a video. It adds a slight performance cost, but a powerful computer should be able to cope. The new options page lets you: - Toggle the music - Toggle the strobe - Toggle the camera director

A few levels were way too hard. A challenge is good, but you can't walk through a brick wall ;) Level 13 (Laser Box 3) is slightly easier. Level 20 (Obstacle Course 3) is slightly easier. Level 24 (Laser Wall Very Hard) is slightly easier.

Hey! Many parts of the game have been optimized and it should now run a lot smoother. There were some jaggies in the game caused by aliasing. This was especially noticable on the LED lights scattered across the walls. Overall, the graphics should be easier on the eyes now. Send a message if anything's up! - Jonas
