• Indie Royale Valentine's Bundle 2.0 now available - 14 February 2013

  There are a lot of things with romantic themes today, and the newest Indie Royale Valentine's Bundle 2.0 seems to follow suit, but in name only. The bundle bucks the trend of "wilting flowers and packed restaurants" for "unromantic alien blasting, striking tower defense action & heaps of classic platforming." In the newest batch of indie titles starting at the modest price of $5.92, you have Croteam's Serious Sam 3: BFE, Shad'O from Okugi Studio, Oozi: Earth Adventure from Awesome Game Studio, Stickmen Studios' Doc Clock: The Toasted Sandwich of Time, and two titles from developer Boss Baddie, Lunnye Devitsy and Wake. Shelling out $8 for the group will grab you the Slipstream volume 2 album of remastered tracks from Tim Wright of CoLD SToRAGE. The bundle will be active until 5 a.m. PT (8 a.m. ET) on February 20.

• Doc Clock: The Toasted Sandwich of Time coming to PS3 - 16 January 2012

  Doc Clock may have explored the Toasted Sandwich of Time on PC back in 2010, but he's ready to restart his adventure on the PlayStation Network. Developer Stickmen Studios has announced a port for the PS3 that promises to add new features over the PC/Wii original. Doc Clock has players navigating the doctor on a journey through time in order to save the doctor's cat, Franklin. You'll have to invent various gadgets to make your way through trap-filled environments, and use your time-bending skills to make it in one piece. New to the PS3 edition is support for the PlayStation Move motion controller. In addition, there will be a "Sandbox Level" that allows you to simply play with the Doc's various gadgets and gizmos. Finally, there are new in-game abilities that are unique to the PlayStation version. There's no release date yet, but you can expect it "soon."

• The Nintendo Download: Punching Animals And Toasting Sandwiches - 17 January 2011

  This week's Nintendo Download features a game called Doc Clock: The Toasted Sandwich of Time, and a DSiWare game that lets you punch anthropomorphic animals in the face. What more could you people possibly want? It gets better! In Stickmen Studios' Doc Clock for WiiWare, the titular doctor travels through time, building inventions out of parts he finds and battling misguided robots as he strives to find his lost cat and built the perfect sandwich toasting machine. That might be the best game plot summary I've ever typed. It also gets a little worse, as Gammick Entertainment's Animal Boxing is a re-release of a Nintendo DS game that no one really liked in the first place, even though you could physically assault cats. Just goes to show that even games with can't-miss concepts can miss. Flip through the gallery to see if anything tickles your fancy this week!
