Hello All; The topic says an update is coming but do not get too excited YET as it is a TON of work that has to be done still, but I just wanted you to all know that is it on the distant horizon, and that this game is far from dead. I am hoping to implement some of the requests however this is more of a upgrade / remaster of the game, addressing some of the things the negative posts have stated fixing the tables mechanics and visuals e.t.c. Also in the update I am CONSIDERING a new table, but this depends on the work load I have on my plate already as you may or may not know this game is done by me, myself and I only. However on higher end systems it can also push the FPS up a fair bit with minor quality loss. So I suggest users experiencing LAG or SLOW DOWN to lower the resolution and graphical settings in the launcher and settings in game as well as disabling the HD Room, please use Adaptive Quality Settings as a last resort. - Retro Pinball 2.0 Update - NOW LIVE! - 18 April 2018
Hey All; I have been looking into the sticky flipper issue and lag that few seem to get. TOPIC LAG: Lag issue is due to lower end specs in MOST cases, the 5 machines I have tested it on had zero lag and ran on average 60+ FPS. Thus it is hard for me to replicate lag that a couple players have mentioned. However in version 2.0 I did do some additional tweaks and optimisation. TOPIC STICKY FLIPPERS: I have gone though this over and over and discovered that it was in fact the input wrapper that was being used, I have since removed the Input Wrapper from the game completely and re-wrote some of the flipper code, which now has checks for when a flipper is used / held down or not, thus resetting the flipper to the down position when not in use.
