Howdo friends!! I know it’s been a while so we’re really excited to bring this new update to everyone. The Glimmyglobe crafting system is back with new rewards: • 4 new potted plants to decorate your house with • 1 new floor style for your house • 1 new costume we think you’ll really like! This update also adds a bunch of quality of life features that folks have been asking for: Notes! • Notes is a history of previously opened mail and a log of the discoverables you’ve encountered. It’s accessible right from the grumboire. Sorting! • You can now sort your inventory and containers! Finally! - Wintertime Event! - 8 December 2023
Followbabies, it's cold outside! From now until January 10th, the Ooblets Wintertime Event is live! Collect festive bobbles and chuck em in the gotsapon machines to snag event-limited goodies like new house exteriors, new outfits, and more. Head over to the Dept. of Ooblet Vehicles each day to find the event kiosk and grab all the event-limited oobmobiles as well. Badgetown's been gussied up a bit in the holiday spirits and there's a greater chance of snowy days, so be sure to stock up on meltilizer or heaters. - Fangamer launches new Ooblets plushies! - 6 December 2023
Our pals at Fangamer have just launched two new Ooblets plushies that they've done an incredible job on: Clomper and Glanter! These are in addition to the Shrumbos that have been out for a little while that a lot of you have already picked up. Here's the Fangamer Ooblets collection where you can snag them all! We haven't gotten ours in the mail just yet but from what we've been told, those proportions are accurate and clomper is indeed quite the big boy.

- v1.4 Oobmobiles Update out now! - 29 October 2023
This entire update stems from us having no impulse control and running with every dumb idea that crosses our minds. We were debating about what incentive we could provide for folks to fully level up ooblets without goofing with the dance battle balancing, and it came down to either a congratulatory “got-to-level-10” hat they could wear orrrr… OOBMOBILES! We picked oobmobiles. Now your ooblets can ride around in little cars!!! It took a lot of fiddly work but the results are better than we could have hoped for. Way better than a lousy hat. There are some barriers to getting your ooblets driving though: You need to have unlocked the *Dept. of Ooblet Vehicles* (DOV) which is related to the “Mystery Door in Town Hall” Tinstle Task available after reaching a player level of 5. It should become available a day after that’s completed (you’ll get mail about it) Your ooblets need to be level 10…

New lil bugfix/QoL patch out! We've been listening to folks on Discord, Twitch, and Twitter and working hard on improvements and fixes as fast as we can! Thankfully there haven't been many bug reports so we can start focusing on smaller issues now! Bugs: Fixed issue where sometimes you couldn't craft a recipe despite having all the ingredients Fixed issue where sometimes player takes too long to walk into their house Improvements: Added a hints/tips element to the main menu (another attempt to teach folks about sprinting!) Added a new option in settings for “Disable Vignette” for people who don’t like the vignetting around the screen Some small lighting tweaks We're working on improving the Chinese localization now so expect some fixes for that soon!
- Beloved indie game finally on Steam at 40% off after Epic controversy - 6 October 2023
Ooblets is one of the cutest, most joyful games you'll find, and it's now out on Steam after a lengthy period of exclusivity on the Epic Games Store that caused a wave of controversy when it was announced back in August 2019. However, that particular book has now finally been closed, as the game arrives on Valve's platform, runs "really well" on Steam Deck, and you can even transfer your save over if you want to keep your progress. - Steam finally gets fun cosy farm sim after long Epic Games Store exclusivity - 6 October 2023
Quirky indie farming sim slash dance battler Ooblets is offering a "hefty" 40% discount on Steam this week to celebrate its launch on the storefront, following the end of the game's Epic Games Store exclusivity on PC. Playing like a mix of Stardew Valley, Story of Seasons, and Pokémon, Ooblets sees you grow the titular critters in your garden before siccing them on each other in battle. However, since this is the very definition of a cosy game, said battles are firmly non-violent, non-contact affairs involving friendly card-based dance-offs. Ooblets is, frankly, a ludicrously twee game, made charming by the fact that its tongue is lodged firmly in its cheek on the subject of its own quaintness. Indescribably adorable farmy-dancy-dressy-uppy simulation game Ooblets is getting a whole new region for Halloween, and according to the Ooblets Twitter account , it won't just be a limited-time seasonal update, either. "Anyone else hyped for Halloween Month?," Ooblets developer Glumberland recently asked on Twitter, before sharing a short clip and a couple of screenshots from the 0.4 Nullwhere update.
