- TWTP Remake: New DEMO available! - 17 December 2022
TWTP Remake demo is finally here!👏👏 Like Trick & Treat Remake, TWTP Remake is reprogrammed by Vilja, and it has received a lof of help from the translators, players and friends, thank you all! The demo contains the Prologue and a part of Chapter 1. Since the develop engine is changed, the game should run better on most of the PCs. The major art, stories, puzzles and achievements will remain the same as the original version. A new maze is added in the prologue. The characters now walk in 8 directions. The game is packed and uploaded again (...again!) and the achievements seemed to be back now! It was probably because the old version had some problem with Steam update or something...anyway I think it's finally okay! *It still won't pop out when you playing, but it'll be unlocked in your achievement list. It's reported that the game wouldn't start for some players (who used to be able to play), therefore the contents are uploaded again. Nothing is changed about the game itself. If you have the problem of words/icons missing from any menu (like it in Airi's Adventure), try using the Vista Compatibility mode: please find your local game folder, right click on "game.exe", and choose Properties >> Vista compatibility mode. The New version is updated now! In the new version: + Lnaguages can be changed in the game. + Thai localization added! (Thanks to the hard work of Whateverzone!) + A new outfit unlocked for the second run (just like in T&T!) However, I'm not sure about its performance on PCs after building it on Steam...I'm aware that the 1.0 version was laggy in large and dark maps. If this version is not any better (or even worse) I'll definitely change it back.*panicking* Meanwhile I'm setting up the Light Version as a free DLC so that if any of you have problem running or starting the game, you can download it to play the game, though it won't have Steam features because the achievements are mainly the reason why it acts so terriblily. ☆Update As planned, TWTP will have a v2.0 in June (possiblily next week). The game's system has been changed therefore the old save data cannot be used in the new version!
