• Something To Do With Love - Bug Fix/Quality of Life update - 13 September 2020

  Hey everyone, just letting you know that we've put out a major bug fix update. This is to fix a tricky bug we've been trying to get under control for a while now. If you've experienced crashes in the past, you should be able to play the game normally now. Sorry for the inconvenience! There have also been some minor quality of life improvements to make it easier to find all the content in the game. We'll be adding more content and more ways to find it in coming updates. • Just Checking in With a Status Update - 18 September 2019

  I figured it'd be a good idea to check in, just in case anybody was wondering where things are currently! I'm still working on a big update for the game, which will include the following: Unique Dialogue for every character Voice emotes for every character (recorded, just need to implement these) More dialogue in general, a lot of which will direct the player towards events. NPC sidequests Use-able phone More date activities and love scenes Currently I'm the only person actively developing the game, so I appreciate the understanding with the uncertain release date. To put it mildly, I've learned a lesson about rushing out a product. If you were there for the launch you probably get where I'm coming from. • Something To Do With Love Is Out! - 18 July 2019

  It's out! You know, I swore I posted an update on release day. Guess not, oh well; I have more to talk about now! The game is out, and thanks to the community's feedback; stable! I was a little rough at the start, but now that a couple hundred different hardware configurations had a crack at it we've got a better idea of the state of things. All reported bugs have been addressed. There should be nothing game breaking from here on. We're still smoothing a few things out, the first priority was that everyone should be able to run it. The original "snazzy" build which ran fine during our tests gave some folks trouble. We're working on making it "snazzy" again, just need to make sure it's snazzy for everyone. • Something To Do With Love will be out very soon - 13 June 2019

  Just wanted to make a quick announcement about the exact release time. I submitted the game to Steam a few days ago and it failed review, I made a mistake somewhere along the line and it wasn't even able to be downloaded. I believe I've fixed the issue and resubmitted the game just now. There's a 3-5 business day turnaround on approvals and I believe I've done everything correctly this time, so expect Something To Do With Love to go live in 3-5 days. After it's approved it becomes much faster and easier for me to make changes, and there will be plenty up updates to the game coming! This is my first game, and my first time using Steamworks.   Hey guys, just dropping a little update here for people who don't follow me elsewhere. View the most recent devlog here The game is coming along nicely, however we found the December release date to be a little unrealistic for such a small team. The new release date is set at May 5th, expect it on that day! I'd like to thank our backers who gave us feedback on the delay and were very understanding. You won't be empty handed this year, however. We will be releasing a new demo very soon which covers the entire first day of the game and allows you to meet all of the characters and explore the entire city of Garden Grove.
