- These 9 PS Plus games are leaving the game catalogue forever in March - 14 March 2023
Nine games are leaving PS Plus this month, never to return to the service again! As such, if you've got a PS Plus Extra subscription, you should redeem these games as soon as possible, before they're taken away. A combination of both PS4 and PS5 games, these titles are downloadable and playable on both of these consoles only. If you own either of these, then you're good to go. Below are the nine PS4 and PS5 games leaving the PS Plus service in March: Read more
- Score attack car-wrecker Danger Zone 2 is out now - 13 July 2018
Some people just want to see the world burn – fans of the Burnout series’s Crash Mode especially. Released today, Danger Zone 2 by ex-Criterion devs Three Fields Entertainment looks to recapture some of those mindlessly destructive thrills. From the looks of the new gameplay footage below it’s an improvement over the original (which constrained the action to bland, boxy concrete crash testing facilities), but I still remain unconvinced. - Danger Zone 2 smashes out next week - 6 July 2018
The former Criterion folks at Three Fields Entertainment are renewing their commitment to smashes, crashes, bashes, and explosions next week in Danger Zone 2 . It’s a sequel to their 2017 arcade smash ’em up, which did involve driving cars but was most certainly not about racing. Riffing heavily on Crash mode from Criterion’s Burnout 3: Takedown, it has us smash through traffic and power-ups to score megapoints – pinball where we’re the ball. While the first game caused spectacular crashes inside bland concrete boxes, the sequel is stretching its legs and getting some fresh air everywhere from LAX airport to English motorways complete with caravans. - 12 new levels released for Danger Zone - 18 December 2017
This update includes: * 12 new levels * A revised progression (works with your existing old save – see below for more details) * Several Bug fixes (audio popping, Physics bug which caused the car to spin and a Crash fix related to payloads) The 12 levels have been slotted into the existing progression - see our website for full details of the new progression: http://www.threefieldsentertainment.com/danger-zone-christmas-update/ So how does this work if you have already completed the game? - Update coming - car crash has caused a delay (no joke!) - 22 September 2017
We're a small team (there are 7 of us). We were lucky enough to hire a new guy recently, a fantastic coder called Ben. We all worked with Ben back on Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. His first job at the company was to do the new Steam update. We wanted to let him push the update live (and rightly feel proud of his work). Last night on his way home he pushed his Danger Zone research a step too far! Yep he crashed his car. Happy to report that he seems to be ok but he is a bit late into work today and we decided to wait for him rather than push the update live without him. So apologies for the delay but there is a good reason! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1141046972

- Crash-u-like: Danger Zone exploding out May 30th - 18 May 2017
Shh! I’m typing this quietly so John doesn’t know. If he hears that we’re twelve days away from the launch of Danger Zone , a splode-o-rama drawing heavy inspiration from Burnout’s Crash Mode, he’ll burst into the RPS treehouse shouting “Explosions!” while kicking things over. He flipping adored Crash Mode , see, and Danger Zone is very much doing a similar thing: you try to cause huge crashes to score mega-points. Heck, developers Three Fields Entertainment were even founded by former top brass from Burnout devs Criterion. Here, look at this Danger Zone trailer: …
