• Eets Hotfix - 16 June 2026

  Hey everybody! First up, a huge thanks to everybody that has taken the time to check out Eets. It's genuinely warmed our hearts to see all the kind words and stories shared about this little trip down memory lane. A hotfix has been pushed to address a crash in the tutorial level when Eets falls off a cliff. Some things never change. (Thanks Ethan!)

• Klei Entertainment classic Eets is now free and updated for modern PCs with a Linux version - 12 June 2026

  Eets was the first game made by Don't Starve developer Klei Entertainment, which just got updated for their 20th anniversary along with a Native Linux version. • Eets is now Free for Everybody! - 11 June 2026

  Some time back, Eets, the very first game released by Klei Entertainment, became too old to play on modern PCs, and in 2015 it was delisted and no longer available for purchase. In an effort to preserve the game for ourselves and our fans, we’ve updated the game to be playable once again, and we’re releasing the game free of charge to commemorate our 20th anniversary. We’ve come a long way, and we appreciate every one of you who has supported us on this adventure. We hope you enjoy this slice of Klei history, and thank you for the opportunity to create more adventures for you to enjoy in the future.

You know how all this works by now. I am so very tired.
