We’re thrilled to announce a massive new FREE content update for BoxVR out today, adding 12 new workouts and over 140 minutes of brand new music. Based on popular player requests, BoxVR will receive over 40 new music tracks spanning across a wealth of genres, including 80s Electro, Rock and Metal. Opening up voting to our community, we asked you what new types of music you wanted to work up a sweat to, and after a tremendous response on social media, the top picks are now being added in this major update. Hey Champs, Today we release a patch for the PC versions of BoxVR to fix some issues that were reported to us from the community and to make some small changes. Please read on to see a list of the changes in this release. Changes Replaced the icon pack that was previously used with the intended selection of avatars. Fixes Fixed the music processor - it should now process .m4a and .ogg files correctly as well as .mp3 files Fixed the folder/file view in ‘My Workouts’ reverting to the default view, it will now remember to return to the previously used folder to make things easier when adding multiple tracks. Fixed the ‘Weekly Calories’ counter on the Main Menu from resetting on a daily basis. Fixed the stats of the previous profile from remaining on the Main Menu after changing to a different profile. - PC Update Progress Report - 1 May 2019
Hello all, As you may have seen, we released a version of BoxVR on the PS4 system yesterday (Apr 30th). At this point in time you might be thinking “Wait a minute, why don’t we have the update? We were here first.” which is completely understandable. This version will be coming to the PC platform on both the Steam and Oculus stores shortly as we finalize some of the features which are slightly different to what is currently live on PlayStation. Achievements Within the PlayStation version of BoxVR you are able to unlock Trophies relating to your performance and progress, we want to bring these same achievements over to PC so players don’t feel left out and also have something other than just your fitness goals to aim for. We've all been there, we make some New Year's resolutions, tell ourselves we are going to stick to them...and then we start making little compromises, reasons to not stick to these resolutions as intently as we planned. This update has been released mainly to fix some issues and to restructure code to allow us to develop the game faster and easier for the future. Fixed an issue where right stance stopped triggering in some of the workouts. Fixed text not displaying in certain parts of the game. Fixed percentage meter not working in Workout Mode. Improved game loading time. Updated Tutorial text to be more descriptive.

We have just updated the live version with 3 new workout with new music. Welcome Workout - a new workout to get new players into the rhythm. Hip Hop Hook - Your quads are going to be burning afterwards. Pop Punch - Feel the heat with this intense all punch combo workout! Also, we have updated the default cue set.The change comes as we continued to evaluate your feedback here and from hit data. We feel this set is more distinguishable from a distance, feels better to punch and also aid with on-boarding new players. - Themed Cues are back (v0.20) - 11 May 2018
Hello! We have just released an update to include a new option in graphics settings for cue selection. We have set this to use our new cue set as default for all environments, but you can turn it off if you prefer to use theme cues. This has been done to make sure new users use our default cue set to accustom themselves with the moves. Apologies to everyone who missed using the themed cues this week. There is also an option to remove the blur effect when squats and dodges are missed. We have also included a shuffle option for playlists and removed the limit on number of playlists you can create. The key features in this build include Profiles: Create profiles for all users of BOXVR on your machine Multiplayer: Create a lobby of upto 6 players. - Profiles - new public beta (v0.19) - 13 April 2018
We have updated the public Beta to add support for multiple profiles. You can now add individual profiles for multiple users on a single BOXVR installation by clicking the profile name button in the main menu.
