Become a Strategeist and guide your country to glory Take on the mantle of a Strategeist and grab the levers of power to shepherd your country through good times-- and bad. Your goal is to establish a powerful nation that stands proud and strong amongst the chaos of the world. However, you are not alone; other Strategeists also vie for dominion over the world and there are many among them who would happily see you fail. Play one of a thousand countries on a spherical globe from 1206 to 1492. Every nation has its own unique geographical situation, historical problems, and political context. How will YOU thread the needle? Mod to your heart’s content with extensive JSON and lua support! Many aspects of the game are changeable via JSON and text, and most objects in the game are accessible via lua script. Build your infrastructure, develop trade, and found new cities. To build a prosperous economy, you'll need to develop your lands, create and nurture settlements, build production facilities, construct trade routes, and manage your population.
