• Game Update v6.3.2 - 3 September 2026

  Fixes The centre button on the briefing, results and settings screens now sits in its own plate, matching the corner buttons. The game now starts correctly on a Windows PC without the Microsoft runtime libraries installed.

  This update improves loading and general reliability throughout the game. Maps and animated units now load more smoothly. Improved reliability after battles and when closing the game.

  Tank Battle: Pacific v6.0.0 is here! This major update brings the game up to date with the latest Tank Battle engine improvements. Smarter AI across every campaign. Campaign balance pass covering every mission, with repaired scenario triggers, reinforcement events and victory conditions. Redesigned Settings and a new Unit Library screen, with unit names, categories, images and weapon details. Numerous additional bug fixes.

  Change: The hex highlights in the first tutorial mission. Fix: An issue on some displays of the 'End Turn' button highlight size.

  Change: Some improvements to the main map display. Change: The tree density on some maps. Fix: An issue with moving and shooting some units as they move from the sea to a beach. Fix: Some terrain was not providing cover against shooting, as per the terrain effects chart. Fix: Some woodland hexes were incorrectly allowing units to pass through them in a single movement action.

  We’ve just given Tank Battle Pacific a small update to fix problem scenarios and some all round improvements. Fixed an issue in the Commonwealth campaign, Palambang scenario, where the cargo trucks were still immobile after turn 6. Add missing terrain information to the Terrain Chart. Add expanded descriptions for some How-to pages. General UI improvements.
