Hello! It's been a bit since our last big update here -- we hope all has been well! We're back now with two bits of news. 1- If you're interesting in chatting it up with us, we've now got a Discord. We've got some new stuff cooking and we'll be sharing news, WIP art and videos, etc in our newly formed Robot Invader Discord server. We'll also be doing the occasional game giveaway and such there. - Monster REMASTER Update! - 20 October 2022
DEAD SECRET CIRCLE just got a Mega Remaster Update. We spent the last two years going over the game with a fine tooth comb to make it the best it can be. Included in this update: Completely reworked visuals for the entire game. New shaders, new lighting, new effects, new sequences. Key scenes and story beats updated and improved based on player feedback. Completely new character rendering system with shadows, normal maps, eye glints, and more Huge number of bug fixes and polish items. Check out some of the new shots below. If you haven’t checked out DEAD SECRET CIRCLE at all or it’s been some time, now is a stellar time. And right in time for Halloween! ***Please note this update is for the non-VR version of DEAD SECRET CIRCLE. We are still working on bringing these updates to the VR version***
- Vive Support Released! - 31 October 2018
DEAD SECRET CIRCLE now supports the HTC Vive and Windows Mixed Reality VR headsets via OpenVR. This is a free update that is included with DEAD SECRET CIRCLE. Of course, you can still play in regular desktop mode if you choose.
- Stop a 70s serial killer in Dead Secret Circle - 6 May 2018
This week, Robot Invader released the sequel to Dead Secret , which was one of the first VR horror-mystery titles I ever got to experience. I enjoyed that game’s puzzles and general otherworldy vibe — not to mention its Kansas based setting. (That’s where I’m from. There’s a lot of murders there. It felt good to solve one.) Dead Secret Circle builds on the successes of its predecessor by expanding the lore of the universe, but also leaning-in hard on a more stylized, bizarro look, where everything has neon outlines and the unspeakable evils seem more… unspeakabler.
