Ahoy, office mates! As spring arrives, so does a breath of fresh air for your bustling workspace. As the days grow longer and flowers bloom, we bring you an invigorating update to help your office flourish! This update brings improvements to the Teams feature, adds the option to merge connected building into a single bigger building and also includes various bug fixes. Most notable is the fact that you can now set and customize uniforms for teams, that then gets applied to all team members. It's limited to hats for now, but we're planning to add customizable shirts and possibly pants as well. We're also planning to add a bigger variety of hats. This change affects the previous savegames as hats are now a team uniform only items and any hats previously worn by your employees will be removed upon loading a savegame. Ho ho ho! It's been a while, but the jolly old work continues. Santa has generously provided a gift of update for everyone, bringing a sense of teamwork and productivity this holiday season! This update adds a new feature/concept to the game - Teams! You can now create Teams, assign your employees to them as you see fit, and then assign those teams to certain rooms in your office, thus giving you more control over how your employees make their decisions at work. The current implementation of teams also specifically affects work related tasks of the employees. - Office Management 101 Dreamhack Beyond stream - 30 May 2022
We're happy to announce that Office Management 101 has been selected to be part of the Dreamhack Beyond Steam event kicking off on May 31st. - Steam Workshop integration now live! - 22 March 2022
With the release of version 0.5.16 alpha Steam Workshop integration is now open for everyone! For starters a much requested Paperwork Shredder can be subscribed to. Hate all the paperwork piling up? You can now easily get rid of it with this mod! After subscribing to the mod in the Workshop you can enable it in the game Settings and Mods menu. If you're interested in creating and sharing your own mods check out our wiki for some instructions. A good place to get additional help is to ask in the #modding channel of our Discord. - Steam Early Access launch - 16 March 2022
After long years of refinement, Office Management 101 has launched on Steam Early Access. Current version of Early Access ships with a short tutorial and a scenario map with defined goals to give you a direction. There are also additional sandbox maps where you can decide your own goals and build with more freedom. At the moment it is only possible to earn money through contract work for other companies. Designing and marketing your own products and competing with the other companies is not yet part of the current version, but it's one of the priorities for us to add that feature. Designing and decorating the offices is already possible, with more options for added and refined throughout the Early Access.
