Hello everyone, We wanted to let you know that, unfortunately, we will stop selling 80.08 on the Steam Store. Due to many creative, personal and financial reasons, we can no longer keep updating the software, add more content to it or provide any support on this platform. You are still going to be able to play the game and should expect no change to the gameplay because 80.08 is primarily a traditional single-player off-line experience. Hello, We've uploaded version 2.3 of 80.08! This update focuses on gameplay improvements. Here's the summary of the changes: 1. We have added two new elements to the User Interface. We added a new "rest" area that includes several story documents that were previously missing in the main game (some of them were posted here). Now all the story elements are inside the application. Hello! We just wanted to let you know that we released a small update for 80.08 (now version 2.2). We fixed a color effect that wasn't properly working because of the engine upgrade. We discovered this issue while making a new trailer (we think it is much better now, check it out if you have the time). Hello, Version 2.1 of 80.08 has been uploaded. Here are the changes included in the update: 1. We have updated the game engine! 80.08 now utilizes the latest version of Unity. The upgrade process was not very straight forward but we think it was worth it. The new engine will improve performance and our ability to deliver future updates. 2. The font used to display the Symbol-Language has been changed. There were some letters that weren't working properly with the previous font and we also felt that some symbols needed a more well-defined look. In the following images you can see the difference: 3. When you select a destination in the Map screen, the button will turn green in order to remind you of your choice (you had to remember your selection before). 4. We also added a new visual mode. Hello! We are glad to share with you the “Source” update for 80.08! The new version of the game includes new areas, new puzzles, new hidden trophies, a new ending and an updated trailer. Here are a few things to consider in order to explore the new content: -Most of the locations in the first, second and fourth “rows” of the main map now have an alternate destination. Once you select the place you want to visit, another portal will open as shown in the image below. Make sure you don't miss any of the new areas! (there's also a new location of interest in the upper right corner of the map). -We have included a new ending! You'll have to complete the main puzzles and all of the new challenges to activate some additional “objects” in the final area of the game. -There's a new puzzle that involves 50.05. I enjoy how it translates the code. From a string of numbers to a symbol. From a symbol to an interpretation. From interpretation to action. 5 It's just code. A simple list of numbers. I'm being manipulated by a hidden list of values. How is that possible? Why does mean pressing a button? 6 I wonder if the numbers on the console have a similar effect. What does 50.05 create? “Somehow (I can't remember the details) I am inside my own mind. This 'voyage' is supposed to help me heal many past traumas. The materialized confusion of this place (strange documents, languages, objects) represents an extremely simplified interpretation of my thoughts. Nonetheless, the unusual documents and abstract shapes (the product of Simplification) are allowing me to remember a mission. The 'beings' that appear to be the center of this reality are infected ideas that need to be understood. Most of the 'beings' are the essence of a particular thought pattern that repeats itself. As I continue the journey hoping to escape this version of myself, I wonder if there's something more. What if this 'experiment' is not what it seems. What if this 'space' is also a type of 'being'?”

- Update (32bit and 64bit) - 7 September 2017
Hello! Some users have been reporting missing game files. This issue, it seems, was related to the architecture of the application (32bit or 64bit). The game initially supported “universal” architecture and this method appears to be creating problems for some operating systems. To solve the matter, we decided to upload new builds specifically designed for 32bit or 64bit. If you previously downloaded the game and you were able to play it even if your architecture was 64bit, this small update will convert the game from “universal” to your specific architecture (64bit). For players with 32bit architecture, the game will remain as it is. Kind regards.

Hello everyone! Today we released a small update that fixes two issues related to incorrect symbols. The first (this is kind of a spoiler) has to do with one of the mayan numbers in the main cell. There was a number seven instead of a number twelve. Here you can see the change: The second change is related to three symbols of the alphabet that appears in the final area of the game.
