With the passing of the year, our team (the two of us) have been listening to your feedback and reviews. We've realized that we may have given the wrong impression of the game to certain players and we're very sorry if the expectations were not met. While those have played the Prologue believed that this would signify that the larger part of the game would be narrative and linear driven. Unfortunately, this isn't what The 9th Gate is about. The Prologue was a bonus story-driven level we added in to help players 'settle' in and familiarize themselves with the game's mechanics. - Patch 1.1.0 - Hearing Aid Patch - 22 November 2018
Hi folks! Some improvements have been made to make navigating the map and finding the objectives clearer! - Using Listening mode now reveals an aura around your vision as you get closer to the doll. Looking in it's direction also makes the aura brighter. - Added a Minimap locator to the Pause Menu (ESC) that shows your position and the layout of the floor you're on. - Made small tweaks and enhancement to parts of the game to improve the experience and challenge. Hi folks, Turkish langauge support is in alpha now. There are still some lines of scripts needed to be translate and adjusted. Currently we only support for those with beta access to the game. Feel free to switch to the Turkish alpha branch to try it out. There might be some errors in translation still. Hi guys, the game has changed slightly since the launch last week. We have simplified and improved some gameplay to help the new player more easy to proceed and get on. Here are few thing that we currently doing: - Implement Turkish translation, the translation is almost done but we haven't integrate to the game yet. - Visual improvement - Guide/Hint Improvement Things that we decide not to do - Save the pick up item data(Charm, Jade and Matche) when player pick up the item. This is because player might can just abuse it by keep on collect and restart until they collect all the item in level.

Hi guys, as I back to office today, there a few thing I want to talk about the focus today. As some of the bug has been reported in this few days, I will focus on certain critical thing first. 1. Candle issue 2. Increase number of random spawn candle 3. Improve regen method 4. Chinese Translation issue 5. Add brightness setting Besides, there something that look like bug but actually is part of the design of the game. 1. Saving will only occur when put the doll to the circle Others thing that will consider to change 1. Allow door to open on both way 2. Save hint and item data when player pick up Thing want to emphasize 1. Actually you can use your body to push the door instead of manually open it. 2. Charm couldn't defend all the spirit attack Sorry that as I'm lack of the experience in optimization. Besides, as I'm the only and new programmer of this game, some of the issue will delay
