So, what’s up with those tickets and coins? Things are looking a little different in the Shooty economy. I want to take you on a quick trip through the changes and let you know the score. At a Glance Summary: • Gold Tickets multiplied by 100 • Added new Prize Machine options • Gun boosts can now be permanently unlocked • New Duplicate pilot rewards • Coin and Gold Ticket *bonus* rewards rebalanced to reflect the above Gold Tickets x100 You get more. Things cost more. We did this to have more flexibility in the rewards we could give players. New Prize Machine Options We wanted to make the game more enjoyable and more accessible for players across the board. The success of Crossy Road is a paradox that I’m still trying to work out. With age and experience, we’ve all come to accept that, as iconic as it may have been as an arcade trailblazer, Frogger was a little naff. How then, did a spiritual successor take over the world? We’re still a bit baffled, honestly. Worse still, the people responsible (at least partly reformed as Mighty Games, formerly Hipster Whale) have continued to apply their retro-polygon aesthetics to other classics, such as the intentionally glitchy Pac-Man 256 , and now the shmup genre as a whole with Shooty Skies, which is out and free-to-play on PC today.
