Grid Legends is the next instalment of Codies' Grid series, and, yeah, it has cars and racing and all that good stuff. This one has a pretty involved story mode too, from the looks of things. - Adjustable race length in Career - coming in Season 2 - 22 January 2020
Hey all, After listening to your feedback and testing ideas, I can confirm that the option to adjust the length of races in Career mode will be included in the Season 2 update. From the main menu screen, if you head to Options > Gameplay > Difficulty, you can find the new option to adjust race lengths in Career. It is set as default to x1, which is the usual race length. You will now have the option adjust the race length x2, x3, x4, or x5. The multiplier applies to each individual race - so if you're participating in a three-race event within Career, and each race is usually three laps long, applying the x5 multiplier will mean each race is 15 laps long. This option will be available on all platforms when the Season 2 update is downloaded, including Steam. We're pleased to address another much-requested feature from you, the GRID community, and are looking forward to seeing you take ad…
- Public lobbies coming January 13 - 'Session Search' walkthrough - 10 January 2020
The new Session Search option in GRID is a new addition to Multiplayer, coming in a free update. It allows players to search for and race in bespoke lobbies that have been created by other players. Session Search includes filters and other options for the player, meaning you can search for exactly what kind of race session you want to jump into. Session Select will be available from the first Multiplayer menu in a new third tile, alongside the existing two options, Quick Match and Custom Match (previously named Private Match). The TL;DR version of how It works is this: if you’ve played a recent Codemasters title that includes public lobbies, you’ll be familiar with the system we’re adding to GRID. 😊 Once players enter Session Search, you can adjust six different filters to narrow down your lobby search. These filters are: Show in Progress – Dictate whether or not your searches include…

- Public Lobbies Coming to GRID, Plus More Upcoming Changes - 9 December 2019
We’re two months on from the release of GRID on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, and it’s been quite the ride already. With patches, updates, our first content drop, and a separate launch on a new platform in Google Stadia, we’ve been foot-to-the-floor with GRID at all times. A massive part of what we’ve been doing ever since October 11 has been diving into the feedback from players, examining what you’re liking and not liking, what you’d like to see more or less of, and making changes based on that. Whether it’s our social channels, the Codemasters Forums, or Discord, we’re working with the GRID community to grab that feedback and turn it into positive changes in the game. From that, it’s clear that Multiplayer is a key area to address. Specifically, the addition of public lobbies, which has been a big request; the ability for players to view lobbies that other players are creating, and jump into…

GRID hits the apex of enjoyment when you find that perfect setup for you; when the car feels just right for your driving style, and the difficulty is set to put you in the heart of the action. In any mode, in any scenario, you have the chance to race against AI personalities that think differently, act differently – and are even capable of losing their cool. 400 AI PERSONALITIES The innovative system centres around over 400 different personalities built into GRID, appearing in each mode and challenging you in a new way, every time the lights go out. When you see a name of a driver next to you on the grid, that’s not just another randomly-selected name placed onto a car. That’s a driver with a bespoke set of racing…
