Latest Steam announcements

  • Major update: Oculus Rift Support / Improved GFX / Improved Audio / Experimental Locamotion / Narration. - 13 August 2019

The Homestead now has Oculus Support / Verbal Narration / Experimental Locamotion Support for total freedom of movement / Exterior Weather with Ocean Views on a gloomy New Zealand day. Also a surreal bonus level that allows you to walk on the paintings just like you've always wanted to. Also graphic settings can be controlled from within the game, from Low / Med / High using numbers 1 to 3. Most parties will want to use 1 or 2 if you have a 1070 or so. Oh also I threw in a few of The System Era tracks from my rock'n'roll days. Don't worry you can mute it with our extensive gamification.

  • Audio issues will be resolved. - 18 June 2019

Have noticed that on some systems the audio is lagging and delayed in regards to spacial movement. Will be using baked audio in future as teh quality is still very good and will also allow for better framerate. Will push an update in the coming week..

  • Massive Performance Update has been pushed. - 15 June 2019

So we've managed to get the performance right up there as we expected. Our next big update in the coming weeks will be a dramatic file size resolve plus a number of requests for locomotion and what I've been wanting to do for ages, the whole travelling inside the paintings as if they are mountain ranges etc. Anyhow. Really happy with this performance boost considering the graphical quality of this experience. Cheers.

  • Big Performance Update Coming - 10 June 2019

Just wanted to announce that a big update in performance will be coming in the next nine to twelve days. This update will be light. You will see approx a 40% boost in framerate allowing for Vive Pro enthusiasts to get a good 45-90fps on a GTX 1080 if our calculations are correct. If we get time, we'll also be pushing a more conclusive UI with performance tweaks and gfx settings. Also some narrative will be present for many of the artworks. Will keep everyone posted as development continues. Thank you for your support. Cheers from New Zealand.
