We've been listening to feedback and bug reports since launch day and have deployed a new version of Bonbon - 2.2. Here is what's new: Added a windowed mode, in the Options menu. Added a brightness setting, in the Options menu. Added a option to switch to a simpler fur shader. This should help with the frame rate drop some players experience when Bonbon appears. Made some adjustments to help with a rare bug that could cause some systems to stick on the initial loading screen. Fixed achievement exploit - you can no longer get "Little Chatterbox" by repeatedly talking to Bonbon. Simplified some toy collision meshes. This should give a performance boost on certain systems. Exposed a cheat to let you skip to a specific scene from the start menu, in case of problems or if you want to replay from a certain scene. On the title screen press: --- + for the garden scene --- + for the lounge scene…

- British domestic horror Bonbon creeps onto Steam today - 25 October 2017
When Bonbon first launched, our Adam found that the quiet little story of domestic horror in ’80s Britain spoke to him, in a creepy nightmares-whispered-in-your-ear kinda way. Before we put him back in The Box, he described it as “a house of horrors that hit far closer to home than most” . That alone should be enough to get your attention. Assuming it didn’t, maybe this will: Bonbon is making an encore today with it’s Steam debut (and re-launch on itch.io ), along with a slew of tweaks and polish to help you sink into an uncomfortable dream of a British childhood that looks just close enough to mine to be unsettling.
