- Knights of Honor II Patch 1.7.0 - 16 January 2024
Update Overview This is the sixth major update since the release of Knights of Honor II: Sovereign. This time we focused on rebellions and added new features to allow players to better handle rebellions and unrest. As always, thank you to everyone who tried this version during our beta and provided us with feedback. Changes to Rebellions Even the wisest of rulers sometimes cannot prevent a revolt against their rule. Until now, a rebel army could only be defeated in battle. With this update, we are also giving players the opportunity to give in to the rebels’ demands and restore order quickly. • New Feature: “Pay off rebellion” Players can now choose to pay off a rebellion to quickly restore order. Paying off a rebellion costs gold and all conquered provinces are ceded to the rebels. Special rebels like loyalists can also demand additional provinces. • Imminent rebellions are now indicat…

Running out of supplies now has a serious impact on your soldiers’ performance and can easily turn the tide in battle. Special thanks to everyone who tried this version during our public beta. Your feedback was invaluable, and we will certainly continue the public beta with the next version. Keep your eyes open for the next couple of weeks for our beta-announcement on Steam and Discord! - Knights of Honor II Patch Notes Game ver. 1.4.0 - 28 June 2023
Update Overview This is our third major update since the release of Knights of Honor II: Sovereign. This time, we focused on quality-of-life improvements and adding more options to the Knights of the Royal Council, specifically Clerics and Diplomats. We chose to focus on the Catholic Church in this update, but we will continue to work on other religions as well for future updates. We also added a much-requested Search feature for the Royal Library, the game’s built-in Wiki system. We hope this will help both newcomers and advanced players to learn about the more advanced mechanics of the game and quickly find the information they need. The help module already had hyperlinks and convenient ways for players to jump to important topics from tooltips and interface elements, but it is now much easier to also find information directly on topics one is interested in. General • Added search fea…
- DevDiary 34 - Update 1.4 - Catholicism and Diplomacy - 27 June 2023
Hello friends and welcome to DevDiary 34 for “Knights of Honor II: Sovereign”! Our next update is coming live tomorrow, so we are excited to share with you the new features and changes we’ve prepared. Two of the aspects we’d like to build upon most are Diplomacy and Religion, as they are essential for the game and we have plenty of ideas of what we can add or improve there. Since this is a major endeavor, we’ve decided to split it into several updates and for this one we started with Catholicism – the most widespread religion in the game. View the full article here
- Knights of Honor II 1.3.0 - 18 April 2023
Patch Overview This is our second major patch since Knights of Honor II: Sovereign’s exciting release, so strap in! We focused here mostly on responding to player feedback and providing a few new, fun ways to play the game. First up, we’ve been able to greatly improve the zoom functionality, both in World View as well as Battle View. Players with good enough hardware can enable “Extra Zoom” in the options menu and get further zoom-out levels throughout the game! We also added a seamless transition from World View to the Political View when you hit the zoom-out threshold, making it easier than ever to move around the map. This was a highly requested feature that took a bit of technical work and optimization, but should really enhance everyone’s experience. Many in the community were also requesting the ability to add waypoints when managing their armies in World View, and we’re here to d…
