• Bug Attack! Supporter's Pack DLC now available! - 17 August 2021

  Consider this DLC a way of showing support, since the game is completely free to play. I want to stress that it is 100% optional. Obviously greatly appreciated, but optional all the same. This Supporter's Pack is a .zip of goodies; including an early standalone game build, a making of/thank you note, and an early promotional image. This DLC does not impact your copy of Bug Attack! in any way. If you decide to grab it, I hope you enjoy it. Thank you. -David Vogt

• Bug Attack! Pricing Change Incoming! - 13 July 2021

  Effective July 30th 2021, Bug Attack! on Steam will be changing price to a super affordable cost of free! This is not a F2P model, nothing about the game is changing, no microtransactions, no pay to win, no loot boxes, nothing of the sort. There will be a DLC available called the "Support the Dev Pack". It is completely optional, and simply contains a file with some neat info about the game and a heartfelt thank you. This choice was pretty simple. The game was never profitable to begin with, so I'd just like for as many people to enjoy it as possible, while still possibly being able to earn a few bucks for the work.

• Version 1.2 is Live! - 28 August 2018

  That's right ladies, and gents, Bug Attack! has been updated. There are a couple of small changes, so let's just get into them. 1. Building Damage A lot of you didn't like that bugs could cause damage from emerging under the building- so we've gone ahead and reinforced the foundation. ;) 2. New Creature A new creature has appeared! This colorful caterpillar-thing will occasionally meander across the screen. Squishing these guys will net you bonus points, so keep an eye out- but don't get too distracted. 3. Windowed Gameplay Screen To better facilitate streaming and video recording, Bug Attack! now launches in a resizable window. That's it for this time, have fun! -Dave Vogt

• Infestation Day!! - 24 April 2018

  Day one is upon us! I'm very proud to finally share this game with the Steam Community. We'll be watching those Twitter shared scores, and tallying them up for something fun. Back when the game was prepped for Greenlight, we did this with the web version, and hit 1 million total squished in roughly two days? We'll figure out a big goal and payoff, so keep sharing. HIGH SCORES We'll be watching the shared scores and any Twitch/Youtube footage shared as well; top 3 players will be added to the Credits with the first game update, so don't be shy.
