- Multiplayer & New Leaderboard Update - 24 September 2018
The Rapid Tap Multiplayer update is now live on both Steam and Android! iOS coming this week. Update removes ads from mobile, adds multiplayer, fixes many bugs, and adds a new leaderboard to the game! Play now to see who can get the most clicks and grab that new #1 rank. The old Rapid Tap leaderboard was based on a bad scoring system I came up with during the initial 12 hour livestream when I made the prototype of the game. It was easy for good players to get too high of a score and then it'd turn negative. Now it's just click count. There's a few bugs in Rapid Tap that still gotta get ironed out, especially for mobile. - Rapid Tap Multiplayer Open Beta - 21 August 2018
After working hard for the past month and thanks to the suggestions from you guys, the Rapid Tap Multiplayer Open Beta is now up! To access the beta build, right-click Rapid Tap in your game's list, select Properties, go to the Betas tab, and select "multibeta" from the dropdown menu. There's no code needed, so just leave that blank and hit the check code button and then it should download the multiplayer branch. Still confusing? Check out my twitter video showing you how to do it. While you're there, hit that follow button too, if you want. Bugs are expected, but its encouraged that you find them and let me know about them in any way you can. You can post about it on the Steam discussions, talk to me on Twitch, or DM me on Twitter. I'll be making changes and fixes to this branch as fast as a one-man dev can. I appreciate all your help and your patience during this beta and I can't wait…
