Hey Everyone! We're bringing you a small update today along with a survey that will help us move into working on the sequel to Light Bearers. Fixed a few typos in the Shadowpedia Fixed a bug that caused anomaly to appear in nox's place in the Shadowpedia Adjusted lighting in fallen temple Adjusted lighting in black ramparts During April 2020 we made shadows available to everyone because it felt like we were on the brink of an economic recession. We've kept it that way up until now, moving forward we have reverted back to having a handful of shadows unlocked. However a change we are making is, as long as one player in the lobby has the DLC. It will unlock for all players in the lobby. If you have about 10 minutes, please fill out this survey. We will be using it as a compass for the way we approach design on Light Bearers 2. Hey Everyone! Happy Light Bearers Anniversary! 4 Years ago, we launched a game that we were super proud of, but it was missing just a little something. We committed to two solid years of post launch development (The game is dramatically improved over its launch counterpart) working with our community (the ones that talk to us) to bring in awesome features and quality of life changes. After that period of time we then shifted our focus to our new game. we have been working on an update for Light Bearers on and off since that time and are happy to release it to you all now. The focus on this update was optimization but we did include some community request as well. Hey everyone! We have a minor content update ready to be consumed :) A lot of the features/bug fixes that were going to be included with this have been released over the last few minor patches. In addition to those, here's what is new! Added an field of view setting (this only affects bears.) Added a mutator system to mix up things! (14 mutators, if enabled each round a random mutator will be applied) Changed how cosmetics are loaded in hopes to avoid the dastardly bright purple bear bug. Fixed the ghastly body not going through shadow walls. Fixed dashing not breaking falls. Fixed a bug where a mysterious bear would slide past the screen in the menu. Fixed a few typos. Fixed an issue that was causing new players to not have save files generated (If in the customization screen, it says you're level 999, please delete your save file and restart the game.) We have decided to enable all Shadows for all players (DLC and Free users) for the interim of the Covid-19 Crisis. We made this decision in the middle of rebuilding the User Interface, if you run into any bugs please report them. The hud should feel less clunky than before :) Stay Safe!

Hey everyone, a small patch to fix some bugs! The Fixes! Placed in a check to fight against characters teleporting out of the world bounds. Added an easter egg for all the people we saw streaming on the 23rd of October during our Anniversary update. Made shadows now taunt during their intro. Fixed a bunch of glitches/exploits that the ghastly body was causing. Changed reaps passive to have a 60% chance to proc instead of always occurring. Fixed a bug that would allow Pestilence to place down two Plaguestones at once. Increased the prevention radius of Pestilence's Plaguestone deployment. Increased rate in which Plaguestones are damaged/repaired. Light Bears can no longer be stood on, shadow bears still can. Placed a safety to help fight against late infection. Fixed a bug that would occur when a Light Bear disguised as a prop would hide and have their cooldown not reset.
