• Santa's Winter Gift Frenzy 2023! - 20 December 2023

  The new update includes twelve challenges within the lobby to celebrate Christmas and New Year's Eve! 12 new cosmetics that will add up to your current inventory. New winter lobby, with a visual enhancement for boosting that Christmas mood! A new arrangement on the soundtrack from the lobby, with cool Christmas bells. Completely fleshed dialogue system, for talking to Santa. Each time you enter the lobby, a new challenge will appear, each one harder than the previous one!

• Running Fable’s Spooktacular Fest! - 28 October 2023

  Running Fable’s Spooktacular Fest is now live. Kilp and Rand have decorated the Lobby for the occasion and have set up a brand-new mini-game, “Apple Bobbing”. In this mini-game, you’ll have to catch the greatest number of red apples in the shortest time possible to win special hats. You can also get your hands on some novelty costumes by finding the secret “Rand-o’-lanterns” hidden in each one of the six levels. Nighttime is approaching, and crows start cawing... Dress up, and let's spook'em till dawning! This event includes: 6 new skins unlocked on each level, of classical Halloween monsters: Dracula Frankenstein The Scarecrow The Mummy Alien A Pirate 4 new Halloween hats to unlock on the Apple Bobbing minigame: Mad Scientist Eyes Pumpkin Top Hat Spider Web Hat Jiangshi Hat Grab your rewards before they are gone! • Break the Piñata & Get new Skins! - 21 September 2023

  "La fiesta mexicana" is here, and now it’s your turn to hit the pinata! Jump and kick the pinata to break it. After multiple hits, it will drop a random present with which you can get some traditional festive accessories. There are 5 different ones; collect ‘em all and get ready to shout "¡Viva Running Fable!"

• Hotfix - Cross-play synchronization, audio fixes & exit button - 30 August 2023

  Cross-play score discrepancy and overall synchronization. Occasional freezing bug that happened to non-master players when finishing the trap placement section. Soundtrack volume popping up when entering a race. Exit button added again. Notifications for non-master players that were not showing up when falling under traps. Occasional trap score that was not adding up properly. Occasional symbol code bug that prevents other players from entering a private room. Sound fixed when hitting other players. Looped sound fix when entering the podium. Changed the main menu's server region dropdown suffix to a clearer definition per region.

• Cross-Play Integration - 29 July 2023

  Release date for consoles is almost upon us! With this, we've added full cross-play support, so you can play Running Fable with up to 10 players between all consoles! Aside that, we've corrected a bunch of bugs, and added a ton of performance improvements as follows: Better performance for low-end graphic devices. Visual enhancement for certain levels, like Verdant Plains and Muggy Jungle. Item placement map is now easier to understand, and better in performance. New eyes material for Rand. Technical wise, we've changed the whole loading system within levels, so you can now enter faster! Customizable elements unlocked within the Christmas event, should now be visible for players that unlocked them back then (more events like that coming soon!) We've added a brand-new singalong trailer, as well as updates on the whole visual identity.

Completely fleshed dialogue system, for talking to Santa. Each day, a new Santa challenge will appear, each one harder than the previous one! Rewards will only unlock if you enter the day, so don't miss them!

• World Cup 2022 Event! - 24 November 2022

  New soccer mini-game in the lobby: Both the hare and the tortoise can move or kick the soccer ball. There are two goals, one for each team, so each player can act as goalkeeper or goalscorer. When the ball enters the goal, there is a goal count for each side. Each time the ball enters the goal it will respawn in the middle of the field.
