- Foreign Affairs Update - 27 June 2020
Hello! I have significantly expanded the geopolitical aspect of the game. An interactive Middle East map has been added to the game to replace the simple list of foreign nations, with filters that can be used to show each nations stability, power, and ruling faction. Each nation is now much more dynamic, and can experience their own civil wars, coup d'etats, terrorist attacks, and other events. The player can influence other countries through peaceful aid, or malicious actions against them. These nations will also intervene much more in Taghian affairs, depending on their relations with you. Their relationship with you will change based on how you treat your own internal factions - if you oppress the Shia population of Taghia and their support for you is low, your relationship with the Shia Islamist government of Iran will decline for example - and if it declines enough they might start…
- Character Update - 28 February 2020
This update greatly expands the character and cabinet side of the game. The traits of your cabinet members, along with the traits of faction leaders, will result in events that can significantly change the internal politics of Taghia. Multiple character events can now happen per turn, allowing them to have a much greater effect on the country. Characters will spend their money raising up pro-government militias, investing in the economy, or strengthening their own faction depending on their wealth and loyalty. New characters will arise to fill any gaps created through the untimely demise of other leaders. The next update I am working on is expanding foreign policy/interaction with other countries.
