• The Last Exterminator - Hotfix Update v34.2 - 12 October 2023

  Just a small hotfix to solve some crash-on-start issues, especially for users that had non-English characters in their Windows username. Fixes: Fixed a crash on systems where the Windows username contained a UTF8 character Added an error dialog if OpenGL fails to initialize, rather than just crashing with no indication of what happened.

• The Last Exterminator - Update v34.1 - 5 October 2023

  First point release update! This introduces several fixes, including resolving a crash at launch that was affecting Windows 7 users, as well as fixing fullscreen support for users with Windows Scaling enabled, making the key rebinding options a little more visible, fixing an issue with being able to double-bind keys, adding support for extended mouse buttons, and more. Some minor changes have also been made to the game, including making a vent that wasn't intended to be an entrance a little less enticing, making an area that should have been a secret an actual secret, buffing the WarBeetle slightly, and lowering the health on some destructibles to make them more destructible. • The Last Exterminator - Demo Released! - 28 September 2023

  It's been a long time in the making, but the time has finally come; the demo is OUT NOW! This demo features one level from the full campaign, 4 different weapon types and 3 enemy varieties, with heaps of secrets and easter eggs to find! While I've done as much testing as I can, please note that this is the first public road-test of a fully custom engine, and as such there's a chance that the game may not work correctly or at all on certain system configurations. Over the next few weeks I'll be working hard to address any issues that come up, so if you have any problems, please drop into the Steam Forums and let me know!
