  Bloodroots' primary antagonist, Mr. Black Wolf, appears several times throughout the game - very often in subtle and hidden ways! He secretly appears in our official media too - tweets, videos, etc. We're running a giveaway centered around these secret, hidden appearances of Mr. Black Wolf!   Hey folks! Thank you so much for being part of this awesome launch! If you haven't yet, be sure to leave a review on Steam if you enjoyed slicing and dicing your way through the game! It helps a TON. With the feedback we received from the community over the last few months, we've made some adjustments to make Bloodroots better than it's ever been with considerable improvements to the gameflow. Here are the deets! Creating a platformer in isometric view can be tricky. A lot of the negative feedback we've received stems from this aspect. We tried making some adjustments to shift the challenge of the game from the platforming to the actual combat; Removed practically all instances of punitive platforming. Added recovery grounds to prevent falling in deadly pits. Added wall colliders on the edges of the map. Removed certain jumps that were unbalanced. Added more ways to reach higher grounds…

• Bloodroots is a wild mix of Hotline Miami and Samurai Jack - 13 June 2019

  Bloodroots feels incredible to play. A minute in and I'm laughing my arse off as I send murderous protagonist Mr. Wolf leaping around a village, ricocheting wagon wheels off surprised villains, firing myself out of cannons and battering baddies with fish. 15 minutes in and I'm convinced it's one of the best action games I've played this year.  Hotline Miami seems like an obvious cornerstone. You've got to clear the level of enemies any way you can, using whatever's lying around, and if you get hit, you're dead. But it's a bit more playful. The aesthetic is immediately evocative of Samurai Jack, while the prop-heavy combat is 100 percent Jackie Chan.   They just keep coming don’t they? A lot of games were announced at E3 2019, things that we didn’t know about, as well as stuff that’s previously announced, or expansions to already released games. Now, to the casual outsider, what we’re doing might seem absolutely nuts, but we thought we’d put together an alphabetical list of all the PC games that have been confirmed to appear at this year’s E3 show.   IN A WORLD where everyone important wears character-defining animal skins on their heads, one man must set forth on a path of destruction in search of the reason for his betrayal.
