Good news are: We have figured out the issue. Bad news are:It will take a while to solve.Turns out, Multiplay, which we use for TABG is shutting down, meaning that the server connection stuff broke. We are looking to find a new solution to migrate to, but it might take some time to implement. HOWEVERIn the meantime, you can use the custom servers to play!We have amazing community members running Community servers! - Hosting community servers now open to everyone! - 27 February 2024
Hello everyone! We're happy to announce that anyone who wants to can now host their own community server! We apologize for the delay and thank everyone for their patience, we also want to thank the community members who helped us out with the beta testing. - Community Servers BETA is now on the main branch! - 16 November 2023
Hello everyone! As you may know the community servers have been tested over the last couple of weeks on the beta branch, but we need more testers so we have decided to push it to the main branch. Everything is like the former build only now you have a handy "Server List" where you can find custom servers! It's still a work in progress but we hope you enjoy the community's creations :)
- Squad and solos are back! - 22 August 2023
Hello everyone! As you have noticed the servers have been all kinds of borked since we came back, and we're doing our best to fix them. We're also working to fix the reporting feature as it won't show up for certain players. If you do have access to it and encounter cheaters we would love it if you report them, so that we can take action. In the meantime, solos and now squads will be available! We will continue to work on the servers to get them back to normal, thank you for your patience!

We’ve rewritten the network architecture which should help with the previous issues, we’re also utilizing more of EAC:s features for (hopefully) more safety. The report function has been re-implemented so that you can report cheaters in-game again. We’ve also decided to completely remove the leaderboards based on feedback from the community, as well as to make win-farming less of an incentive to cheat. Hello everyone! As we talked about last week in this post, the game has recently been plagued by hacker and DDoS issues. Today we’ve made the hard decision to temporarily shut down the TABG servers while we work on the issues. This won’t really change much from the current state of the game, as no one can play even when the servers are up due to the attacks and hackers. While the servers are taking a break, we will continue to work on implementing community servers and possible solutions for the DDOS issues. This isn’t a measure we take lightly. Hello everyone! If you have tried to play TABG in the past couple of weeks you may have noticed that the servers have, for the most part, been down. The servers are currently experiencing a DDOS attack and we’ve been spending a lot of time figuring out fixes together with the server providers. DDOS attacks are quite complicated to deal with and there is no quick fix, but we want you to know we are taking this very seriously. Below are some commonly asked questions about what’s going on to hopefully shine some light on what we’re doing: Are you shutting down the servers for good? Hello everyone! We just updated the game with a new anti-cheat, hopefully, it works well - otherwise, let us know! Late last year we were informed that EQU8 would now be exclusive to Splitgate and that they would shut down support for other games in February of 2023. We’ve been working to get an alternative up and running since. This patch also fixed one of the notorious dupe glitches! Hello everyone, if you have been active in our discord or in the steam forums the following will not come as a surprise to you, but we thought it was time to put out an official post about what is going on with the game. As you know, the player numbers haven’t been great since this summer. The relaunch did not go as we would have liked it to. This is due to a lot of different factors, which we take full responsibility for. Initially, we had another studio on board to focus on the F2P aspects of the game like the in-game store so that we could spend our time creating new and exciting content. This didn’t work out and we had to remake the store ourselves causing us to not be able to add new content until a few months after the relaunch. Hello everyone! Thank you for your patience. We are aware that there are more bugs than the ones solved in this patch, especially concerning desync issues and we thank you all for reporting them. Unfortunately, they are products of the game's networking code and would require an entire rework of the game. For now, such a big undertaking is unlikely to happen. We have also seen the requests to add the Brawl mode that was worked on in the early betas and announced by us as a F2P feature. We hoped that the F2P launch would bring in enough players to support another mode, as it has not done so, we have decided not to go forward with it. We are sorry to say that there are no current plans to add Brawl to TABG unless something significant changes. - Duos are back! - 6 September 2021
Thank you for your patience, duos are now back in TABG! Heads up that you may experience longer wait times in all modes due to this change. We currently don't have any more information about future updates, we will discuss them in the next coming weeks as development is starting back up again after the dev teams break. We're also waiting on a bigger anti-cheat update from EQU8 addressing the current issues and reports. Make sure to restart steam and verify the integrity of the game files.

Small TABG Hotfix #3 Fixed bug where catch phrase volume was not affected by the master volume setting. Fixed bug where you would get XP even if you left a game.

Small TABG Hotfix #2 Fixed bug where running close to the wall would randomly disconnect you. Fixed bug where players could inject rich text tags on the leaderboard. Duos is currently disabled until the we get a bit more active players to sustain 3 game modes per region.
