- HOT changes to Area 3 and Music Class access adjustments - 22 December 2025
Lenin is reflecting on the game changes, but they are all positive (phew)!Hello everyone,Lenin - The Lion is a story about overcoming struggles, and 6 years after release, I am still listening to your feedback to make this experience the best it can be.Today I’m releasing an update focused on reducing frustration and prioritizing the narrative. I realized that, at times, mechanical difficulty was preventing some players from experiencing the most important part of the game: the chance to uncover different emotional outcomes regarding Lenin's life. What changed:Rebalancing Amir and Liane's Mansion area: Trap density has been reduced (I SLIGHTLY cleaned up the scenery) and error tolerance has been significantly increased (the error variable limit was raised from 15 to 25). The goal is to maintain the tension of the challenge, but without unfair punishment or pure frustration.More accessibl…

- News about the save system and an Artbook! - 18 December 2024
Most importantly, first: yes, I’ve made the tough decision to allow more than one save file to be used in the game. When I created Lenin - The Lion, my goal was to craft an experience as close as possible to the daily decision-making process of someone living with Major Depressive Disorder. At the same time, it’s still a game, and the inherent limitations of this medium are part of the gaming experience. That’s why, after these years of the game being available, I’ve decided to change this feature. Some players had mentioned it before, and ultimately, those who wish to experience the game as it was originally intended can still do so by using just one save file. I hope this change allows more people to reach the end of the narrative and discover the distinct endings the game offers. Additionally, here’s another detail: a long time ago, I promised an Artbook about the game. But it never…

- New Achievement & keyboard instructions - 3 October 2019
Hello, everyone! Some news for you: All the known major bugs that could interrupt the gameplay were fixed. YAY! If you find anything else, don't hesitate to warn me. Thank you so much for your help and understanding. Also, I fixed an error regarding an achievement "The Darkest Hour" (hands icon) and added a new one, called "A Secret" (but this won't change anything in the plot). Now on the title screen a 3 seconds image instruction appears to warn the player that the game must be played with a keyboard and a mouse. That's all for now! Thank you guys and enjoy Lenin - The Lion.
- BUGs and more - 27 September 2019
I'm fixing the bugs as you warn me and also as I find them in tests. Thanks for the warnings. I'm uploading several time per day with minor fixes and you can check it out here the bug fix list. Important Note: I disabled the option on Steam Page of partially compatible Gamepad because some areas of the game may conflict in its use (pushing statues and using the ship). However, if you prefer, you can still use it at other times with that in mind. I will try to optimize the use of Gamepad and will announce in a new publication as soon as possible. Bugs Fixed: Sep 27th - Save problem (Unfortunately yesterday between 10 p.m and 12 a.m I had to make a patch in the saves folder, which ended up erasing the existing saves. The problem is fixed and will not occur again. I'm really sorry for this). - Magnolia Bug Moving - AX and wrong access to Mecha Wolf (If you get the AX with this character at…
