  Hey all!I've been silent for longer than maybe ever before. I won't bore you with all the gory details, but basically my life went off the rails at the end of last year:burnout → job loss → financial stress → scrambling to stabilize → finally in a place to focus on YK againThe signs were all there before things started going downhill. I'm urging anyone going through something similar to slow down and make changes early. Pulling yourself up by your bootstraps doesn't always end well!😵 It's been a pretty rocky ride for me and my whole family, but I'm so happy things are looking much better for us now.   Hey everyone! Chapter 08 is finally complete and ready for release🤩. This chapter is one of the climax points in our story and needed so many images and animations that I thought I'd never get it done. I'm so sorry it took this long, but hopefully you will enjoy it!❤️I need to make the disclaimer that this chapter was really challenging to write, and I'm still not perfectly happy with it. Still, I thought it was best to let go for now, and come back later to revise. Truth be told, as a card-carrying level 9000 introvert, I’ve struggled to juggle game development with keeping up on the Steam forums, X, Patreon, and, well... life. • Chapter 07 part 01 Release! - 20 June 2024

  Finally, we're ready with another update. It's a small one, but it marks the start of a darker arc in Jeong's story. I'm a bit anxious about how players will react to what's coming up... We've had multiple delays with this update. It turns out we had a massive bug in our game save system😨. These things happen when it's just me doing almost everything alone.😵 I try to test everything as thoroughly as possible, but testing takes time away from actually making the game. With chapter 06, I rushed it, and that led to the bug. The bug is now fixed, but everyone needs to delete all chapter 06 saves and replay the chapter. Otherwise, the choices you made in chapter 06 won't carry over to chapter 07. I'm tremendously sorry for this inconvenience, and we'll be more careful in the future.😔 We also discovered another issue with the save system, and this one will take more time to fix. Currently,…

  Hi everyone! Just letting you know that the final part of Chapter 04 is now complete. This piece is quite short, but the story is beginning to get more heated... ;) I've decided to continue the game release in smaller pieces to ensure a shorter wait between updates. My life is still in a bit of a mess, but at least I've been able to work every day even if not for long periods of time. Work on Chapter 05 begins today, hopefully the next update will be done soon!   Hi everyone! I've been gone for almost a year. There were many reasons for my long absence and silence, but in a nutshell: my personal life took a very dark turn, and just when things finally started to brighten—the pandemic began. Overall, it's been a year where everything has felt like a constant struggle, and honestly at some point I really wanted to just give up. • What Happened?! - 22 December 2019

  At the start of this year I wrote a short and happy post about us beginning our tests for chapter 03. I also mentioned that we were going to have our first child in a few months time. At the time, I was utterly oblivious and honestly thought that within a few months time, life would continue as it was before our son... Well, I was wrong. Turns out, the cliché about life never being the same after you have a child–is true. I will try to spare you all the boring details, but these past 9 months have been a whirlwind of exhaustion and chaos. During this time my own life has been on pause, I've had no choice but to neglect myself, all my work and this project. I'm still struggling, trying to combine my life as a stay-at-home-mom and game dev, but I can see light at the end of the tunnel.
