• Version 2.1.4 Released. New Expert Mode! - 8 July 2018

  We are listening, and in response to your feedback, we have added a new Expert Mode. With Expert Mode on, you must get in the rhythm of the game, and use the appropriate play for the situation, overhand or underhand. For those who prefer the original assisted play mode, simply leave expert mode off. This is selected from the main menu screen, and is off by default. In addition to expert mode, we have also added an exciting new court in Netherlands, 12 new achievements, and many more updates and improvements.

  We have received user feedback about game control, specifically, the ability to play the game with a single button, which can rob the gameplay of depth. The game is not intended to be played this way, it has an underhand and an overhand button, which both work in conjunction with directional input for aiming your hit. This directional control is useful for setting up your strategy, by forcing your opponent where you want them in their court, and then attacking where they are not covering, which will greatly increase your chances of scoring. However, we did include an automatic override if you choose to make a play not appropriate to the current situation, for the sake of making the game approachable and not frustrating for beginners or very young children.   We have released an update which fixes several bugs and improves the graphic quality of VTree Beach Volleyball. What's new in this update: - Increased texture resolution for many scenery objects. - Erratic movement of a player when completing a jumping serve. - Character would slide sideways when changing court - Shadow casters were not working correctly with characters.
