Nominate Raiders of the Lost Island for Labor of Love Award! Here are a few fun facts about it that you probably didn't know: Raiders of the Lost Island started at the Global Game Jam, back in 2017. Inspired from board games like Forbidden Island and the way my kids wanted to grab those beautiful treasures for themselves, despite endangering the whole team. It is my longest and biggest project as an indie game developer. It is the game me and my family played the most. Over 280 hours recorded in Steam, though we started long before the Steam version was ready. My 2 kids grew up raiding together... well, most of the time one against each other :D They just played today with their cousin. They lost :p Good anger management tool. We still struggle - watch our live broadcasts :) Created as a solo indie developer in my spare time. Lots of long nights and weekends... no regrets! Over 4 years…
- New Update: Raiding Skills - 8 November 2022
A fresh new update, with a brand new feature: RAIDING SKILLS! Level-up during your adventures by collecting XP coins, and choose from 50 skill cards, to refresh your raiding style. How this works!? From each island you can collect one XP coin. It's worth 7 points, but most importantly, once you get enough of them (depending on the adventure length), your team will sail to a training island where each of you get to choose from a random selection of skill cards. Some give you fighting advantages, some are used for surviving, some get you rich faster. There is one even to catch those rare baby birds when you crack the eggs. In total, there are no less then 50 skills to explore. And you can mix up to 3 of them, to find that winning strategy and drive your friends crazy! - Update v1.10 - small fixes at a special price 50% off - 17 April 2021
Hey everyone, Here's a small update (v1.10) with a few fixes, to go with our ongoing sale. During our last live party, we noticed a one missing text in the controllers menu. Fixed now :) Also, at the end of the adventure, when the best builder badge was displayed, it always had the blue color, instead of matching the color of the actual best builder player. Of course you would see your avatar face there, but what if all players had the same avatar? The different player colors help in this rare, but fun to play, case. It has been reported that the Greedy Volcano is not a thing to joke about! So, taking this feedback into consideration, me and this hard stone had a talk, and reached an agreement. We cut a passage, a shortcut to easy things a bit. And the big guy promised to go a easy when asking treasures from teams with 1 or two members. Still, to survive it, keep in mind these two simple things: 1. When the earthquake starts, go and throw some of your treasures into the volcano, to quiet it down and avoid triggering the final wave early. Make sure you have something in your pockets for this. 2. Use your shooting skills to drop down resource bags placed on ledges. Avoid going all the way back for a second bag. All in all, I hope raiding the Volcano island is now accessible to everyone! Update v1.08 - fixed rift island that had a hidden hole under the mud layer - lowered a bit the minimum water level…

Raiders Of The Lost Island now speaks 8 languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese Brazil, Romanian, and Russian Also the Steam page was translated in a few more, including simplified Chinese.
