• Final Updates - 15 January 2019

  Thank you all for your continued patience as we finalize the changes for DoA. Destiny of Altrais has been an awesome expierence to build and release for the first game under the MAGES name. While we will continue to use it and its statistics to build newer and better games we do not intend to improve DoA any more than this final patch. One downside to this new patch that will be coming out 22Jan19 is that while it will introduce minimaps for the player, all current save files will be corrupted. We understand this is frustrating especially if you have put in a large amount of time into your save file. Due to the nature of how the maps work there is no work around for this so when the patch comes out on 22Jan19 the players will need to create a new game file. • Understanding DoA - 27 November 2018

  Overall, the feel of DoA is to be representative of some of the classic rpg style games with its own flair and changes. While it is meant to be enjoyable there are some things we kept that might not make sense compared to newer games. While it may not make sense that the Inns cost less than the potions that you take with you and they heal less, this is to help you understand the necessity to prepare for battles ahead of time. Many of the enemies have various levels of attacks that seem overpowered but there are also different types of skills and consumables within the game that will provide you a unique advantage over them. Learning what these items/skills are, is part of the experience of DoA. • Pushed Out Release Date - 3 August 2018

  Everyone, I am truly sorry we did not make our estimated release date of 1 Aug. Upon review of what is still needing to be accomplished I have decided to push out the release date at least one month to make sure when the game is released it is a full game with little to no bugs. As customers you deserve the best even if it means waiting for it so I am going to ask everyone to wait just a little bit longer while I finish up. • Bungie made a book of the Destiny Grimoire - 27 July 2018

  Destiny has lore - believe it or not! - but it's not always presented in the best way. In Destiny 1, the lore was told through a Grimoire - a set of cards you unlocked in-game and then viewed... outside of the game, on your phone or on your monitor or something. It wasn't ideal. Now, Bungie's throwing all the Destiny lore - and the first game's Grimoire cards - into a new set of books that, well, for this Destiny lore nerd at least, looks awesome. • Twitch Stream - 18 July 2018

  Hello all, As you are all well aware we are coming closer to the end of the month and that much closer to the release of DoA. With that in-mind, we will be hosting a special Twitch live stream event where anyone who would like to can ask questions about DoA prior to its release will have the opportunity. • Patches Incoming - 7 July 2018

  All, Thank you for your continued patience while our testers continue to break...I mean test the game. Our dedicated testers have been hard at work to make this game good for all players and to help us remove the bugs. As of today, Steam has authorized the release of the game, but we will hold to our new date of 30Jul18 as the soonest. Understandably people are waiting for this game to release and we appreciate you adding us to the Wishlist. We are holding to the new release date but have some exciting news to share. • Builds Incoming - 2 July 2018

  All, I know the planned release date of DoA was 2Jul, but we at MAGES are currently awaiting Steam to approve our builds so we can start getting it out to you, the customer. Our testers are still working out some bugs for us and we have decided to revamp the combat system as a whole to provide for more dynamic combat that is both challenging and fair. With that in-mind we have pushed our release date to the end of July. • Raising the Bar - 21 June 2018

  Ladies and Gentlemen, Our crazy game testers are continuing to push the limits of our builds as we get closer and closer to preparing the full release. They have decided to inform us that they feel the enemies are too easy. After sitting down with the Evil in the East he has decided to have a talk with all of his generals and they will be provided double rations to allow them to provide a more difficult journey for our adventurer.   While I know many people look at this game as just another RPG Maker product coming out on Steam it is so much … ok it is another RPG Maker product coming out on Steam. So many people probably wonder what is making this game different then all the rest and for that, we, the developers have the answer. Our game testers are hard at work finding ways to improve the game for you before we fully release it. Case in point one of our testers found a way to teleport himself to another map recent unheard of within the game. We looked into it and decided that he was using black magic to teleport into the old land of Altrais that wasn’t even fully developed yet.
