  We were debating this for a while, because adding distractions on screen would somewhat change the feel of the game. But in the end the reason the game is in Early Access is so that we can experiment, so... This one is obvious. Flying damage numbers. Everyone has them, now we have them too. Before when you rammed the enemies, you heard a sound, maybe noticed some lost HP, but you didn't really feel the impact. Now when you hit someone you will notice it instantly. A lot of the weapons will also cause screen shake. But our test group was surprisingly divided between "add this immediately, I want my eyes to bleed" and "I just want to chill and not get a headache". That's why we also made sure that settings to turn it on\off are quick to get to, right in the Esc menu There are other minor additions. Play the game and see if you notice them. • Challenges, Buildings and Minor UI changes - 31 October 2023 - 31 October 2023

  This time we decided to switch our focus from optimisation and other quality of life updates to something that will potentially change the way that the game is played. Up to this point we only had an Endless Mode Arena, where you could try to survive for as long as possible, but there was no winning conditions. Challenges are here to fix that... And by challenges we not only mean certain achievements that you could earn, but new games modes and even maps that we can add in the near future. to other things... Somebody finally provided feedback in our discord server, so we just had to listen. To be honest, we already knew about that. And we are exploring different more permanent solutions. But for now, we can't afford to have buildings that are more than 2 story high, so we swapped them with some other models, that might even be more interesting. • Weapon Shop Upgrade - 14 October 2023 - 14 October 2023

  We finally found time to add some stuff to Weapon Shop UI. Empty space on the left was reserved for the vehicle model since before the game was released on Early Access. Now you actually have some visual representation of what currently is equipped and it should be easy to understand when you're buying stuff too. UI might look a bit uneven for a while, because we have some other ideas for it and the weapon system overall, so there is no need to make it pretty just yet. • Car Abilities - 10 October 2023 - 9 October 2023

  Tight Ride is evolving... Originally, we wanted to make the gameplay itself as simple as possible. Before this update you could play the game with one hand or even one finger *wink-wink, mobile version when?*. But the time came to steer away from our hyper casual roots. In the last update we dropped the new vehicle, specifically to add more abilities this time Buggy gets temporary Speed Boost with an Invincibility Shield Rammer gets Knockback Waves Thumb gets unique melee Saw Weapon FYI abilities are activated by pressing Spacebar or RMB (X\A or similar on a gamepad) Stay tuned for more updates as we fine-tune these changes. • Massive Weapon Rework - 12 August 2023 - 11 August 2023

  Hey there, hope you liked our free demo. In addition to it, we have been working on something else. We reworked most of the weapons and their evolution to make the game feel more like Reverse Bullet Hell. Here are most notable changes: Turret - instead of one direction it can shoot in up to 5, depending on the upgrade lvl. This also affects Piercing Turret. Minigun - doesn't autotarget anymore. It only shoots in front of the car, so you have to keep it in mind while operating the vehicle. Vacuum Bomb - grows in size depending on the upgrade lvl + it auto collects all the XP shards and brings them to you. Shrapnel - instead of just exploding once, it stays in the same place and shoots projectiles multiple times. Prism Laser - chain attacks enemies if they are close by. Boomerang - multiple boomerangs are added with upgrade lvl. This also affects Curved Blades and Shuriken. Drone - multip…

  We are happy to tell you that our game finally has a demo available. We decided to upload the most recent version. The only difference is that some of the content is locked. For know you're stuck with an endless arena mode, 1 vehicle, 1 character, a couple of weapons and all the perks. If you liked playing our game, please consider buying or wishlisting it. • Update Patch Notes - 01 August 2023 - 2 August 2023

  New crew member We had a Demoman crew member, but it didn’t really make sense for him to have perks that affected explosive weapons, but a fire weapon himself. So we added a crew member called Firestarter gave him Demoman’s Molotov and perks that buff fire damage. And Demoman got a new team fortress like Sticky Bombs weapon. Buildings and Obstacles Added a bunch of buildings so that arena doesn’t look so empty. We are testing how will they affect gameplay and enemy behavior. If it feels good, then we can start creating the lore around it and maybe start building different levels. Demo Coming Soon We’ve been working a lot on a demo since the last update. • Full Controller Support - 6 July 2023 - 6 July 2023

  This week we focused on one thing and one thing only - Controller Support. There still might be some little bugs and UI inconsistencies, but overall the game is 100% playable with any regular gamepad. The work we've done also opens up the possibly of bringing our game to the Steam Deck later on. But we have to do a lot of testing before that and we unfortunately don't have the console on deck at the moment (: Additionally Full WASD support.   New Vehicle - The Rammer: Introducing the latest addition to our vehicle roster, the Rammer! Unlike the Buggy, it does not feature a front weapon slot but compensates with an enhanced ramming capability, blocking ramming damage and delivering a more powerful impact on collisions.
