• Goodbye Seat of War! - 19 December 2018

  It's been a great few months guys, but I'm sad to inform you, this is the end of Seat of War. The servers are going to stay up for 2 more months, but all updates are done for. There's just no players playing the game, and it's hard to build a fanbase with an already 3+ month old game on steam. We hope you understand. Thank you for playing Seat of War.

• Team Tournament #1 - Open to all. - 23 November 2018

  Hello everybody. This is the first tournament being hosted for Seat of War. The player base has grown alot in the past few weeks, and we would like to welcome all new players. • Seat of War is now free! - 17 November 2018

  Thanks for being a part of the community, and I welcome all new players! ___________________________________________________________ Seat of War v1.5 was released today. In this update we have added and changed the following: -Added new map: War-Torn City -Fixed bugs related to maps and taking fall damage for no reason -Improved network connection -Changed the background on the main title screen. -Changed the login screen colors and textures. -Bot matches have been removed temporarily due to bugs and server issues ____________________________________________________________ Things that are going to be added and fixed: ADD: -Explosive barrels -Weapon Skins -Customizer for characters and weapons FIX: -Fall damage related to barrels -Random sounds on all the maps ____________________________________________________________ Another note: The hangar map is NOT going to return to the game.

• Servers are up and v1.5 is out. - 8 November 2018

  We were having some trouble with the servers for v1.5. They were struggling to keep up with the new map. Too many details for it. I buffed the servers an slight bit and optimized the game a little more, but there is a slight drawback. The game uses about 50-250mb of ram MORE than what it was using before. To most people this should not be an issue. Thanks for playing Seat of War!

  Seat of War v1.5 was released today. • Seat of War v1.4 - 27 August 2018

  Hello everyone. Today we have released a small patch just to fix some minor things related to the weapons and some objects in the levels. -Changed the Headshot bonus from 25 to 50. -Made the rifle feel more like a rifle -Reduced the range on all weapons except sniper and rifle -Fixed the no-collider entities for the Factory map -Completely removed the Hangar map -Added a background image for the main menu That's all for this small update. • Seat of War v1.3 Released! - 14 August 2018

  Hello everyone. We have released a new update today! This is a massive update to Seat of War, and the game is finally starting to shape into what we originally pictured! So, we are happy to release to you today, Seat of War v1.3! What we have added: -Input manager system. You can now change your key binds and controller support has been added. -Login system added. There is now a login system, to save your progress and to keep track of your kills, deaths, and playtime. -Rank system. A rank system has been added to Seat of War, with this system, the more play time you have, the more it reflects on your account. -Voice chat added There is now a voice chat system in the game (experimental) -New animations to the weapons. • Seat of War v1.3 Progress update. - 9 August 2018

  Hello everyone, and thanks for playing Seat of War. We have been working on a huge update to the game and it has taken us a little while. Let's get right into this! What we have added so far: -New animations to the weapons -Added the "rifle" for the assault class -Added a Login system to save kills, deaths, and streaks -Added a rank system, the more you play the higher rank you are. And of course, plenty of bug fixes. What we are still working on before this update will be released. -AI The AI is almost complete, just touching things up. The AI will only be avalibale in the new game mode, Free for all. -Touching up the UI -Fixing the network lag. Thanks for reading this update so far, this update is almost out. • Update 1.03 is live! - 19 July 2018

  Hello everybody! Today we bring you the first update to the Early Access version of Seat of War! In this update, we have been taking the community's suggestions into mind. Lots of things have been changed, and even something new added. Here is what we have done in this update: -Changed the max amount of players for a server. Before they were 2, 4 and 8. Now they are 8, 12 and 20! -Fixed bug where gun was not rendering when the player spawned. -Fixed the bug where if a player leaves the server while someone is trying to join, it crashes the game. -Changed the speed depending on the weapons. All speeds have been increased. -Added a new map. The one you have all been waiting for, a new large map! This map is meant to be played with the 20 player setting. The new map is called "Factory".
