Latest Steam announcements

  • The Possession Experiment (New Short Horror Game) - 31 December 2019

So after FROSTBITE: Deadly Climate I have tried to work on bigger projects even announce I was developing some, but as time went on I always tend to come across road-blocks and other issues that really hold me back from continuing to work on a project and it was stressful and a pain at times. With that I soon decided to go back to square one and decided to focus on making smaller experimental games and make them in a set amount of time with using the Assets I had on me. And with that I finally created a new game called The Possession Experiment Itch.io - https://olinkalex.itch.io/the-possession-experiment GameJolt - https://gamejolt.com/games/The-Possession-Experiment/458651 Currently no plans for a Steam Release.

  • A video of an Early Prototype build of my next game project. - 18 July 2019

Early Prototype Video Well, after the Mobile port of FROSTBITE: Deadly Climate my mind had some second thoughts on the development of the spiritual successor to Frostbite:DC and well now I'm taking the spiritual successor in a new directions and by new direction I mean a completely new story/setting, some different gameplay mechanics, and might even drop the spiritual successor thing and flat out treat this as an in Name Only Sequel. Still a lot of work needs to be done and things are of course subject to change.

  • FROSTBITE: Deadly Climate - Available on Android Phones - 20 June 2019

Link to the Game App - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.AlexO.FrostbiteDeadlyClimate Google really doesn't make this clear, but FROSTBITE: Deadly Climate is should be now available on the Google Play store and be playable on Android Phones.

  • Open Beta - FROSTBITE: Deadly Climate [Android] - 25 May 2019

FROSTBITE: Deadly Climate - Android Edition | Alpha Footage Teaser So for the past few months, I've been working on porting Frostbite: Deadly Climate to Android Phones and after going through a few weeks of closed Alpha Testing I finally decided to go Open Beta. Now I should mention that the Android port has received not only a few minor changes to get the game to run and play good on a Mobile, but it has gotten a few additions. One is an additional difficulty mode Deadly and Second an Endless Wave-Base mode simply called Survival Mode. Currently, these additions are Mobile only and I'm not sure if I can bring them to the PC version. https://cdn.steampulse.org/steam/asset?u=https%3A%2F%2Fsteamcdn-a.akamaihd.net%2Fsteamcommunity%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fclans%2F33092361%2Fa42c3d49bd02335939ec86cf1e05e900e2a615a3.png Anyway if your interested in testing out the Open Beta here is the link. Note: Beta Testing is limited to 25,000 people. FROSTBITE: Dead…

  • FROSTBITE: Deadly Climate might be coming to the Small Screen. - 8 April 2019

https://cdn.steampulse.org/steam/asset?u=https%3A%2F%2Fsteamcdn-a.akamaihd.net%2Fsteamcommunity%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fclans%2F33092361%2Fe1079e51eac2e320076a05c8a80cfa2865588843.jpg This was something that I debated on doing for quite sometime now, and I finally made the decision to put my current project aside for a bit and work on porting the original Frostbite: Deadly Climate game to Mobile. I'm still working on the Port, but the current results are very promising, and give or take the lengths that is needed to get the game on the Mobile Store, it is looking very likely that Frostbite: Deadly Climate might be on Android within in a few weeks.

  • Making Solid Progress On My Next Game - 11 March 2019

Say hello to what might be the Research Base for the upcoming Spiritual Successor to FROSTBITE: Deadly Climate. https://cdn.steampulse.org/steam/asset?u=https%3A%2F%2Fsteamcdn-a.akamaihd.net%2Fsteamcommunity%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fclans%2F33092361%2F79d34b5667c984439e48efb9654e9dfa841d124e.png (this base is about 6 times the size as the base in Frostbite) First, excuse my bad grammar/spelling. Ever since the Steam release of FROSTBITE: Deadly Climate, Thing has been very rocky. From trying and failing to promote my game to some big YT names, to find a job in the industry, to planning and developing my next game. It has been crazy and stressful, and I won't go into the details, but going through these struggles is what lead me to this project. So simply put my current plans is developing a Spiritual Successor to FROSTBITE: Deadly Climate I still have a lot of work in planning and developing the game, so a lot of things are subject to change, but cu…

  • Happy Birthday to FROSTBITE: Deadly Climate - 19 November 2018

https://cdn.steampulse.org/steam/asset?u=https%3A%2F%2Fsteamcdn-a.akamaihd.net%2Fsteamcommunity%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fclans%2F33092361%2Fb7b1de2e7b9e6865cadbe518bdce5256b0c4e8ee.pngOn 11/19/17 I released my game FROSTBITE: Deadly Climate to websites like GameJolt and Itch.io. Now it has been a full year sense it's release and I must say that there has been an interesting, but very stressful experience. So far, the biggest stress has been trying to gain some attention of my game across the web with little to no effect. For months I have tried to contact many high-profile YouTubers about my game and I have not gotten response from them, or any of them playing the game. While I fully understand that these YouTubers are very busy, and I know I’m not the only developer who’s made a game that got little to no attention, it still doesn’t change the fact that as a new developer who dreams of having a career in developing games. It is both extremely frust…

  • New Game in the Works - 18 September 2018

While I'm happy how well Frostbite: Deadly Climate is doing on Steam, it is still a free game and I need to work on a game that I can sell and hopefully start my career as a Game Developer. I'm currently working on a Tech Demo for my next game and I'm looking into possibly crowdfunding my next game project. Now I don't plan on giving away on what the Story/Setting of my next game will be anytime time soon. I will tell you that just like Frostbite: Deadly Climate it will be a First-Person Survival-Horror game with gameplay like old-horror games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill. However, unlike Frostbite: Deadly Climate, my next game will have a more original story with a heavy focus on psychological horror in a bizarre world. Expect, more news about my next game within the coming months.

  • New Update - Version 2.0 - 28 August 2018

Version 2.0 contains these fixes and improvements Looking at your Map and examine Documents won't pause the game, but it will disable the Temperature system, giving you all the time you want to read the games story. An extra Audio Reel on Normal Difficulty Menus will automatically close when the player gets attacked by an enemy. How to info text under the inventory, map, and examining items is a bit brighter to see. Post Possessing and View Distance Level settings are now removed and giving a fix setting. (editing these settings can cause the game to be to difficult to see) Change the lockpicks to mention Padlocks instead of simple Locks. Fixed bugs and glitches with open menus and inventory when leaving the game to the menu and head back into the game. New design for the Pause screen. I've been only able to test these fixes and improvements on my PC, so your experience might be differe…
