• LAUNCH, WEREBABY, LAUNCH! - 2 April 2019

  The school bell's metal is polished, Frankenbaby has risen, and the terrifying clown makeup is MAKING ALL THE KIDS RUN IN TERROR. It's time to launch this crazy experiment! I'll keep making some tweaks, changes, and enhancements as we roll into OFFFFFICIALLY LAUNCHED, so keep me posted if you have any bonkers ideas! And yes... the tall Town level beat out the wide Town level. Because broken furniture raining from the sky is hysterical.

Or press down. Or just keep breaking the fire alarm. I'm not picky. ALSO a new power up has been added - CRAFT TIME! If you are a sitter who keeps losing your critter, pop a craft time power up and follow their messy, un-vacuum-able trail through the house to find 'em!

• Tech Update! - 14 January 2019

  Along with thoughts on the Main Street level variations (THANK YOU!) I have also gotten a few emails about random tech problems people have run into. I tried to roll all of them into this latest update, so if any of these help issues you've had, then AWWW YEAH! And if not, just let me know what is buggin' ya! 1. WONKY FRAME RATE One player was trying to get WB up and running on their TV, but the framerate just BOMBED. After a few hours of trial and error, we finally found the culprit- the TV had an odd synchronization rate that was throwing it off. The settings screen now has a toggle that lets you disable vsync. If your frame rate is just plain BAD, try that first, and let me know! 2. TERRIBLE FIRST-TIME UI NAVIGATION When WB first shipped I was doing a lot of playtesting on a single keyboard with two users. It was fun, but it means I had to use WASD for one player and the arrows for t…

• Welcome FRED! - 1 January 2019

  Frankenbaby has finally pulled themselves together and has joined the critters! They do get a bit grabby, however, so don't be surprised if they steal the sitter's powerup right in the middle of an intense battle! Also, someone brought up that the game looked a bit dark on their screen and some backgrounds were getting lost in the murky depths of night. We at Well Bred Rhino FULLY support night lights, so we've added a new dynamic system that shades the background based on the setting's darkness config. If anything still looks hard to see, just let me know! AND FINALLY, the next battleground being developed is a huge street that will let babies and sitters alike bounce between the different levels of the map. • Witch and Clown are in! Now it's time for ROUND 4! - 7 December 2018

  Last round there was a lot of love for both Terrifying Clown and Witch Baby, so they both got added! Witch Baby TEARS THROUGH all the debris that gets piled up, and the Clown will be described by WereBaby to a therapist in about 32 years. WHICH MEANS... that counts as two updates? I get to count this next round as round 4! Whoo! Math is a lie! So whats up this round? I have some more power-up ideas, but I love seeing that level screen fill out. Maybe more levels? • Not "A" Mall, THE Mall! - 7 November 2018

  The Grand Opening for the Talbot Commons Shopping Mall is upon us! Dine at one of our many eateries! Enjoy the FINEST of fashions at BroBoutique! Stop by our arcade for flashing lights! Talbot Commons, where our motto is "You Break It You Buy It!" The mall level is ready to be shared, and I hope you enjoy it! It was a fun adventure trying to give all the shops their own unique identify and clutter, and it ended up WAY bigger than I first intended. That said, I want to make sure EVERY level has its own vibe, so it SORT of worked out according to plan? Sure. Why not. Give it a try, let me know what you think, and have fun breaking stuff! This is also our first big update, so if anything goes wonkily, just let me know!
